Plan to give birth at a hospital. Not sure what budget looks like but can work with either or. Ideally labor as much as I can naturally, then eventually get an epidural if I need it. Would like to experience, golden hour delayed clamping skin skin, no vitamin K and a more holistic approach. I would like the Doula to be be certified have at least five years of experience or 20 deliveries at least. I would like the night nanny to help with feeding cooking actually not cooking but laundry and I’m happy to make whatever budget work.

As a first time mom, delivering at Livingston HealthCare, I’m looking for a birth doula that will help me and my husband navigate labor and delivery. We hope to have someone on our team, to advocate for our birth plan as well as mother and baby’s best interests, clarify medical options, and be a trusted member of our birthing team since we have no guarantee of knowing what Dr in the practice will be delivering our baby. I am hoping to have an unmedicated, natural vaginal birth, but understand that complications can arise. We’d prefer a doula who is certified with at least 5 years of experience.
