Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a trained postpartum doula servicing the Los Angeles region. I have been in the child development field for over 10 years, working as a Certified Child Life Specialist in children’s hospitals and in foster care agencies around the country. I specialize in working with families in high-stress situations, working with them to develop coping techniques and utilizing wellness strategies to promote a sense of peace in the home. As a postpartum doula, I assist in those delicate few weeks as baby is being integrated into the family: feeding support, sleep support, infant care support, and sibling support all included. Education is empowerment and I will always work to provide you with all of the resources at my disposal to ensure that you and your entire family feel equipped to make the decisions that feel right for your unique unit. As a specialist in child development, I also provide insight and education on how best to support the optimal cognitive, physical and emotional development of not only the newest member of the family but also older siblings who may have a hard time adjusting to a new baby in the home. I look forward to collaborating with you and providing you with the nurturing care you need to thrive in your postpartum months.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Georgia as our day doula during a challenging time. We hired her last minute after I had to stay in the hospital longer than expected due to postpartum complications, and she was a lifesaver from the start. She stepped in to support my husband at home with our newborn and continued to help us once I returned home, providing invaluable care for both our baby and my recovery. Georgia went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Her calming and kind presence was a godsend during what was a traumatic and overwhelming period. From picking up our favorite fruit and bringing coffee to helping with my first outing alone with the baby and managing my medications, she anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. Her support extended beyond the practical—she helped us find our footing as new parents and brought us together as a family unit. Not only was she wonderful with our son, but she also provided the emotional and physical care we so desperately needed. We felt truly supported and cared for in every moment. Anyone who hires Georgia will be making one of the best decisions ever. She is a remarkable doula and an even more incredible human being. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

My Story I am New York native, living in Los Angeles now for the last 15 years. I am a proud mom to my 6 six boys (age 5 to 21) so for a long time I was either pregnant or breastfeeding. Each baby breastfed for a different duration of time depending on what was going on in my life then and I enjoyed every minute of it. As my boys grew older I was on the search for a new career so I started searching. After exploring various career options, and helping some new mom friends along the way I set my eyes on becoming a Lactation Consultant. This profession combines my passions for babies, breastfeeding and helping others. I so enjoyed my breastfeeding experiences with my babies and wished the same for all moms. So, in my 30's and mom of 5 at the time, I returned to school. After completing my prerequisites, I joined the LC program at UCSD and finally became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2019.

I am a birth doula and childbirth mentor/educator located in Orange County, CA. The primary focus of my work is to improve birth outcomes for marginalized communities and to reduce (ideally eradicate) birth trauma. My training is mostly through an organization called Birthing From Within and I highly recommend their reading materials for individuals at any stage, from pre-conception to postpartum. My philosophy is that you, the pregnant person, have all of the wisdom and ability within you and we can work together to awaken that within you.

Lindzy is just amazing! I highly recommend her services. She is well educated, informed on all birthing questions I had. Her expertise, advice, referrals, and support around all things pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum were so helpful and such a comfort as a first time mom. She is down to earth and easy to talk to, and she valued our birth plan. She was my advocate and a huge help in the delivery room, we are so grateful to have hired her, even in though I was late in my pregnancy. If we have another she will be the first one i'll call!

From the moment we met, she radiated warmth and confidence. Her expertise and unwavering support truly made all the difference in our birthing experience. Her calming presence during labor was exactly what we needed. Raquel provided continuous encouragement and guided us through various comfort measures. She ensured that our birth plan was respected and advocated for our choices, which was incredibly reassuring. Moreover, her knowledge of childbirth was evident at every step. Raquel answered our questions, offered valuable insights, and created a peaceful atmosphere in the delivery room. She was not just a doula but also a source of strength for both of us. Hi! My name is Darien and I’m a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. For 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for newborns in some of their most delicate and important moments. That background has given me deep knowledge in newborn safety, feeding, sleep support, and recognizing the little details that matter most in those first months. Beyond my professional training, I’m also a mom myself. I understand firsthand the exhaustion, the joy, and the constant learning curve that comes with bringing a new baby home. My goal is to bring both medical expertise and a mother’s intuition to the families I support—whether it’s overnight care so you can rest, guidance with feeding and soothing, or simply being a calm, reliable presence in your home. Every family is unique, and I pride myself on meeting you where you are—supporting your routines, respecting your preferences, and making sure you feel confident and cared for. I look forward to helping you create a peaceful, well-rested start for your little one and your family.

When we are nurtured and supported, we do better, our babies do better, and our families thrive. Still, many of us are left wondering, where is my tribe? This very question has inspired my mission to foster a sacred space for mothers to receive the emotional support they deserve. The perinatal period and motherhood can be profoundly beautiful and empowering, yet messy and vulnerable all at once. We discover challenges that we’re not confident we can handle alone. Whichever stage you might find yourself in, building your tribe and support system makes all the difference. In my practice, I support womxn who are planning to conceive, expecting, postpartum, and parenting children of all ages. Each of these stages bring new joys and challenges. I offer specialized mindful and solution-focused services for pregnancy, motherhood, and parenting to help facilitate the process with professional guidance and care. My offerings include highly customized individual therapy, postpartum-planning sessions, conscious parenting support, birth/medical trauma processing, and perinatal EMDR. Additionally, I facilitate support groups and workshops.

My name is Darby and I work primarily as an Overnight Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula. As a Newborn Care Specialist I support you in your first 12-20 weeks home with a new baby with 30 to 60 hours a week of overnight or daytime care. I will get you set off on the right foot when it comes to having a healthy sleep schedule; working to get your little one (or ones!) sleeping through the night as it becomes age appropriate. I will support their eating needs to ensure their intake supports age appropriate growth and successful sleep, whether that is through breast feeding, formula feeding, bottle feeding or some combination of those options. And most importantly I will be able to keep a close eye on your newest and tiniest family member to make sure their health, development, and habits are all trending in the right direction. Overall my objective is to get a sense for your goals in the first few months to help educate, support, and assess the baby’s and family’s needs. As a postpartum doula my work will look very similar but will have the parent take the lead more. I will be there as your shadow to support with healthy healing for mom and baby. I can offer education, nurturing, assessments of postpartum recovery and referrals to other folks who would help you be successful during this unique time in life.

I’m so happy I found Darby! I was having a hard time getting my newborn to sleep and had questions about feeding. There’s so much information out there and Darby was able to simplify everything for me in a way that worked for me and baby. I was nervous about trusting anyone with my baby but Darby is the real deal. You can tell she really loves babies and I trust her to give good care to my baby when I’m not there. You’re in good hands if you go to Darby for your baby’s needs!

I am an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, parent educator, and mother of four with personal experience breastfeeding my four children through a variety of challenges for about six years. My nursing experience includes two years in NICU. I'm not currently licensed in California as a registered nurse. As a new mother, I was so thankful to have in-home support. This is the same model I have developed my lactation services on. Early and often works well for establishing your milk supply. It also works well to provide support to new parents as they adjust to life with a new baby. I provide free ongoing follow-up support to all consultations to help you embrace motherhood with confidence.
