La Kiesha Davis, Student Midwife, Birth Doula, Certified Midwife Assistant, and Wellness Practitioner. My holistic journey began professionally 10 years ago and has grown into a complete lifestyle and passion. As a birth worker I have attended 106 births in various settings including home, birth center, and hospitals. Throughout my own life’s journey starting at a very young three years old, I have both fallen deeply in love with all things holistic and gathered various skills that have made me the woman I am today. My intention is to teach women to know and understand their worth and individuality by providing them hope and confidence in themselves. By integrating my knowledge of both western medicine as well as complementary and alternative medicine I am able to initiate self-efficacy for women throughout their lifespan and birth experiences. In my free time, you’ll find me at the beach, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends and always with a cup of tea.

Full Doula Service

Role of a doula It is important for you to understand that I cannot - and do not - guarantee a specific outcome for your birth. I will make every effort to provide the services described here and agreed upon. This includes my presence at your birth, sometimes this is impossible (for example, precipitous labor and birth, preterm birth/induction). If I miss your birth due to your lack of calling me no funds will be returned. The investment is non-refundable. On Call In addition to our visits, I am available for phone and email consultations from the date that the agreement is signed. I encourage you to contact me with questions, concerns and any updates. I will get back to you as soon as I can – this will usually be immediately, but definitely within 48 hours. Please update me with any new developments and concerns throughout the pregnancy. I will be on call for you during 37-42 weeks as well as available by phone via text or call. If for any reason, I do not answer when you call, please leave a message and also text me and I will return your call within an hour. In Labor If you think you are in labor please contact me as soon as possible. We will be in continual contact once labor has begun. Once you’re in active labor or you need me, I will head to you. I typically make it to you within an hour barring any unforeseen circumstances (depending on distance and traffic, emergencies, etc.).

On-Call Birth Doula

Upon my availability, If you think you are in labor please contact me as soon as possible. If I am in fact available we will be in continual contact once labor has begun. Once you’re in active labor or you need me, I will head to you. I typically make it to you within an hour barring any unforeseen circumstances (depending on distance and traffic, emergencies, etc.). No additional visits included. Prior contact is necessary. Long labors may have additional fee.

Certified Midwife Assistant

Assist Licensed Midwife in labor, birth, and immediate postpartum tasks.

What to expect

As a birth worker I am intuitive, gentle, and naturally in tune with the human body and nature. I am able to speak directly to the heart of a condition to initiate healing both medically and holistically. I am a teacher of female harmony, mind, body, and spirit. I cultivate the desire to be healthy and in tune with oneself.
