I’m an experienced birth doula certified by DONA for over 15 years. I have been Tricare certified since the start of their doula demonstration. I have attended births in all Tampa area hospitals and birth centers. I also work in NYC. Attended nearly 200 births and happy clients.

Love, love, love Lori! She went above and beyond during my birth. She stayed with us for hours while we were waiting, and even when she had to step away after being there all day, she came right back to the hospital as soon as things started moving. She supported both me and my husband so much—helping him with comfort measures and helping me with breathing, pushing, and staying calm. Her presence was steady, kind, and exactly what we needed. I would have Lori again in a heartbeat!

I am available to work with clients in the state of Florida virtually and in Tampa for in person therapy. I am really passionate about working with women to help them discover who they truly are before the world told them how to be. Personally, I have had to learn to cope with my own self-inflicted pressure to be the high achiever and "perfect" mother. I love helping my clients learn how to cope with the stress goes along with belief that we should be able to do and have it all. Professionally, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families from a variety of backgrounds and in multiple settings, including in-home therapy, office-based therapy, child welfare, residential programs, and agency management.

Hello there! I'm genuinely excited to share a bit about myself and why I'm so passionate about being a doula. My wife and I were so grateful we came across Candice, she was absolutely amazing! I was away on work when my wife went into labor at our home, Candice immediately came over to our house to be with and help get my wife get into the right headspace. Unfortunately, our midwife was out of town, and by the time the backup midwife arrived, my wife had already delivered our beautiful girl! Candice was right there, every step of the way! Without a doubt, Candice helped make our girls entry into this world such a calm, peaceful and loving experience. I can't say enough good things about our experience. What an amazing person and soul, we highly recommend Candice.

My favorite method to teach first time parents or parents who have any number of children is about the Dunston baby language. “The Dunstan Baby Lauange is the most fascinating phenomenon in my Opinion. “The Dunstan method explains that all babies have a universal “language,” no matter where they are born or what language their parents speak. On top of everything else you “need” to know for your baby It’s easy to learn and you will be able to meet your baby’s needs faster by understanding what they are asking for through their cries. Each baby from birth to three months will speak these 5 words. This remarkable trait will stay with them if responded to, for the first 3 months of their original due date.

I provide compassionate, evidence-based care, and believe in honoring each family's unique needs, choices, and values. Whether it’s your first birth or your fifth, my goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and deeply supported every step of the way. “Trust your body. Trust your baby. Trust your journey.”

Jessica is truly an exceptional birth doula! From the moment we connected, I felt completely supported, seen, and empowered. She brought such a calming, grounded energy to every conversation and made me feel safe and informed every step of the way. During labor, Jessica was an absolute rock. Her presence was so steady and reassuring, she knew exactly when to step in with support and when to hold space quietly. Whether it was physical comfort measures, emotional encouragement, or just being a warm and compassionate presence, she was exactly who I needed. My birth experience was more positive and empowered because of her. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, trauma-informed, and intuitive, and you can tell how deeply she cares about the families she supports. I honestly can’t imagine going through birth without her! If you’re considering working with Jessica, do it. She’s a gift.
