I am so grateful to Donna for helping me promptly find two wonderful doulas who've assisted my family 7 nights a week. I reached out to Donna when I was pregnant with my second son. I was already in my second trimester and was extremely anxious to find a highly professional, educated, and knowledgable night doula that could help us for several months. I was having a lot of trouble finding the right match. Donna paired me with Lanny and Kimberly who were both caring, atten-tive, loving, and very experienced. Most importantly, they were on time and never missed a day of work. When there was an emergency, Lanny introduced me to her daughter Kimberly who became a backup doula for us. While their time with us has mostly come to an end, I especially consider Kimberly as a part of our family and hope to remain in touch. She was so loving to our older son as well, and we'd welcome her back to assist us in a variety of ways for a long time to come! If you're looking for a wonderful Doula Kimberly is a great choice.

Hi! I'm Shaina Brickner from West Los Angeles :) I am an IBCLC and RN, with 7 years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. I transitioned to working as a lactation consultant when I realized that my true passion is educating new parents on all the options they have when it comes to breastfeeding their babies. I have 3 children whom I breastfed each for over a year, and each breastfeeding journey was so unique. I love to help new parents navigate the crazy new world of parenthood through birth, breastfeeding, and newborn care classes and postpartum lactation visits. I offer home visits (if you're local to Los Angeles) as well as virtual and sometimes office visits. My favorite topics of discussion are pumping schedules when going back to work, tethered oral tissues (tongue tie/lip tie), combining sleep hygiene and breastfeeding. and managing supply issues.

Shaina was generous with her time. She was very pleasant to chat with and calm. I liked how she didn’t feel worried or anxious about things and it made me feel safe and trust her. As a mom in the midst of this, you can really be stuck in a spinning world trying to figure out solutions. The email she sent me afterwards was perfectly simple and detailed with a beautiful attachment with helpful tips and info on the plan we discussed and extra tips as well. Thank you so much!

My next step in my career was fulfilling my dream of becoming a doula and supporting families prenatally and through postpartum. I feel truly blessed doing the best job in the world. I was born and raised in Verona, Italy, where, starting at an early age, my studies of ballet, theater, and contemporary dance whet my appetite for visual beauty. After the birth of my second child, I discovered my true passion and started as a birth doula within the Los Angeles birth community. It was then that I envisioned the possibility of finally putting my visual passion to use—by becoming a professional and certified birth photographer. I recognize the power and strength within you, and I am here to support YOUR vision for the birth of your family and guide you toward making it a reality.
