I look forward to my weekly yoga sessions with her every week! It took me a while to find a professional that offered prenatal yoga and I’m so glad I came across Carlease. She gives great instruction and is really in tune with what I need and how to help me develop more strength. I’m excited about working with her throughout my pregnancy journey.

I am excited to express my interest in the Night Doula/Night Nanny position. With four years of hands-on childcare experience—including dedicated night nanny work—I’ve supported families with newborns, infants, and children up to 5 years old, including twins. Caring for little ones during those tender nighttime hours has become something I truly love and take pride in. I have a strong background in establishing healthy sleep routines, soothing newborns, supporting feeding schedules (breast- and bottle-fed), and helping parents feel confident and rested. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, gentleness, and intuition—especially at night when babies need calm, consistent care. I also bring a reliable, nurturing presence that helps families feel secure and supported while they recharge. I would be honored to support your family and bring my professionalism, warmth, and dedication to your home. Thank you so much for considering me. I would love the opportunity to discuss how I can help your household thrive.

Hiring Ar’Monni as our night doula was one of the best decisions we made. She brought such calm, patience, and understanding into our home. Our newborn slept better, we slept better, and the whole house felt more at peace. She was attentive, dependable, and incredibly gentle with our baby. We trusted her completely from day one. Truly a lifesaver during those exhausting early weeks! Highly, highly recommend her services.

Vanessa was our doula for all 5 of our children. My husband wasn’t convinced we needed a doula, but after our first was born, he said, ā€œWe could not have done that without her!ā€ So she was considered a necessity for the subsequent births. Before birth day, she met with us to discuss our birth plan and goals and how she could help us with that. She taught us what to do for pain management. She involved my husband as much as he wanted/could handle, but she did a significant amount of the pain relief techniques for me. She made sure I was drinking water and always had my cup filled up. She fed me. She reminded me to breathe correctly. She reminded me to ā€œpush from your bottomā€. She held my hand. She put a cold cloth on my forehead. She knew what I needed when I didn’t. Her presence is calm and kind. For my last birth, my only home birth, she asked in our initial meeting if I had considered catching the baby myself. I told her no, but we decided to discuss what that would look like anyway. The midwife missed that birth. Vanessa made it just in time. I didn’t even know I was pushing, but she knew! She said to my husband,ā€œShe’s pushing - we need to get her undressed and in the tub.ā€ She helped me undress and get in the birthing tub and - who knew - I caught my own baby and she was right there with me guiding the process by telling me exactly what to do like we had practiced weeks before. She helped to handle discussing the birth and updates to my midwife on the phone, communicating to us what the midwife needed us to know. She was definitely a source of comfort for all my births, but especially that one! She also does a postpartum visit to check on us and comes full of ideas, contacts, and resources for any postpartum help we need. I cannot recommend her enough. She is such a blessing to our family.

I have been a doula since 2016, providing personalized support and care to my clients during their pregnancy, labor and birth! Before becoming a certified Labor Doula, I achieved a Masters degree in Counseling as well as a teaching certificate in elementary education. My educational background and experiences enhance my abilities as a labor doula. I have a nurturing and compassionate spirt and I believe that the best tools I bring into every birth are my heart, my hands and my voice. My goals are to equip you to be ready mentally, physically and emotionally, and to serve you during the journey of your pregnancy, labor and the birth of your baby. Besides being a doula, I love doing life with my husband, our four kids and three dogs! We are an adoptive family - so my husband and I have 3 biological children and 1 through adoption. We love Jesus, laughing, cracking jokes, eating Chinese food, going on trips and also relaxing at home watching a movie. I try to not take life for granted and enjoy the big and the small moments of everyday life. God is my life breath and He is woven all throughout my story.

Shannon is amazing!!!! We loved having her as our doula. She helped both my husband and I through my pregnancy and my very long and hard labor. I set out to have a home birth, but ended up transferring to the hospital and she was there every step of the way. She helped me with my very hard back labor and was just the support my husband and I needed. We will definitely be hiring her again with our next baby!!

I am a birth doula and Childbirth Educator. My doula business was birthed after having my own natural home birth after having two cesareans. I was uneducated about a lot of things regarding birth; so I hired a doula who guided me through the entire process. I was so enamored with my birth, that I felt compelled and called to do this work. I love educating and guiding moms and families through their birth journeys. I absolutely love doing what I was called to do and look forward to being your comfort and peace during your birth!
