hospital birth, estimated price, plan on natural birth
Hospital birth with hopefully tub available. My budget is pretty tight so lower the better. Hoping to stay around $1,000. My birth plan is natural and little intervention
Just looking. I want an at home water birth with the minimum cost needed. Can work around my budget.
I'm looking to have my second child here at home on the farm, want a natural non invasive birth with support from someone who's seen a thing or 2. My Budget is no higher than $5000 as I just need someone there for the birth. I'm not one to say that you need 20 years experience but preferably someone who's been doing this for more than 5. I am 18 years old and this will be my second child and a VBAC delivery (My obgyn has cleared me for VBAC). Really just looking for somebody that will show equal concern as I and be a supportive friend. Like I said my budget is no more than $5,000 and I am looking to have someone come out to my house just to join us and guide us for our first home birth.
I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.
Finding a midwife and doula covered by tricare. I would prefer home or a birth center.
Hi! My name is Alize Smith. š I'm currently pregnant with my first baby, and my due date is in October. My husband is active duty Air Force, so we have TRICARE. I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. I'd also love to schedule a consultation to see if we'd be a good fit. Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing from you. š¤
Prefer a secular doula. Low medical intervention birth. Hospital birth.
Im seeing if there is a possibility of me having a doula covered through Medicaid. Iāve had 2 birth center and 2 home births and am considering my first hospital birth.
I am looking to give birth at Baylor Scott & White in McKinney, TX, or at a birthing facility. My due date is on 12/5/26. I have Tricare Select insurance.
I plan to give birth at Baylor Scott and white hospital in McKinney tx. This is my first baby so Iām not sure what to expect for my budget, but I would like to receive a quote. I am looking for a doula that can help prioritize my birth plan and focus on my needs during the birth, while the OB focuses on the baby. I would really like to give birth vaginally and am looking for someone who values modern medicine but can also help keep things as natural as possible if it is safe. Iām looking for someone who will advocate for me when things get crazy in the delivery room and who is willing to coach me through labor and help support my husband in supporting me. I am currently hoping to give birth un medicated, but I am open minded as I have never experienced labor before. I know I will want delayed cord cutting and breastmilk only. I would also like to learn about different birth positions and reduce the risk of tearing and as natural as possible birth if the placenta.

Hospital birth, as unmedicated as possible but open to epidural and nitrous oxide use as needed.
I currently have an OBGYN that does accept my medicaid. I had a c section with my daughter in 2022, and I really want to try for a vaginal birth. My OBGYN and I are not connecting as I would like and I did more research and feel better finding a mid wife or doula that I can connect with and listen to my wants and needs. I appreciate it! I plan on giving birth in a hospital setting. have medicaid health insurance. I believe its a cooks childrens plan but I would need to double check.
