Hello, My name is Hermila but everyone calls me Milly. I am originally from Havana, Cuba but have been living in Miami for over 20 years. I am bilingual and speak both English and Spanish. I am a mother of two girls whom I adore and have taught me more about life than I could ever explain. I am a birth and postpartum doula serving the South Florida area. For as long as I could remember, I have been fascinated by all things surrounding pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. My very different birth experiences lead me on the path of birth work. Having had a c-section with my first daughter and natural home birth with my second. Having lived the drastic difference between those experiences shaped my views and proved the importance of education and support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I have made it my life’s work to educate and prepare families in all aspects for the journey ahead. It is an honor to be able to guide families in this transitional time of their lives. Jessica Sawicki, from Luli Sleep Consulting, is a mom of four. Jessica is trained and certified as a Gentle Sleep Coach. As a professional sleep consultant located in South Florida, she also has worked with parents all over the world for the last 8 years. She has worked with twins, triplets, siblings, all ranging from ages 0-6. Providing newborn educational consultations, to sleep training infants, to helping toddlers transition to their big beds; Jessica works on a wide range of sleep issues. As a mom herself, Jessica understands how critical it is to the families’ physical and emotional well-being to get sufficient amount of sleep and restful nights. Working one-on-one with parents, she develops a specified plan that best suits the parenting style, issues, and goals. She provides the daily support and guidance along the way, making sure parents see the results they want. Jessica loves doing her job, as she says; “seeing the transformation from a sleep-deprived family to a happily rested family, makes me just as happy as it were me going through this process!”

I am a passionate advocate for young mothers, driven by my own experiences as a young mother facing challenges without support. Determined to make a difference, I actively volunteer in my community, facilitating support groups and offering resources to empower young mothers. Currently, I am pursuing studies in alternative medicine and midwifery to provide holistic care and support in various situations. I am committed to being the advocate I once needed, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and hope for young mothers everywhere.

Hello! My name is Marcela and from a young age I’ve felt a calling to help those who cannot speak for themselves, this is why I initially became a Veterinarian Technician. After enjoying that field for many years I wanted to specialize in OB/GYN sonography. Plans were put on hold as I welcomed my blessing. During my pregnancy I took all sorts of classes to prepare for birth, but, when it came to the hospital, things didn’t go as planned and I was stripped from my birth rights ! I never want another mother to feel the way I felt or be treated the way I was. Every woman deserves to feel empowered, supported and loved throughout their pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum and lactation journey. My passion for doula work only grew as I learned the statistics with minority women and I am ready to be a part of that change! I want to be a part of the statistic that decreases birth mortality.
