Hey Mama! I'm Christianna, a doula, a placenta encapsulation specialist, and a childbirth enthusiast who serves mothers during their pregnancies and births. I have seen and passionately believe that a woman's body is built for birth. Not only are women's bodies designed for childbirth, but mothers get to participate in the miraculous way a living soul enters this world. Being alive is truly a miracle, and I love being able to be present for such a sacred moment when a human being is born. It is my pleasure to educate and protect women as they prepare for this life-altering event. Childbirth can be both an intense and a glorious experience. I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I have also had ample experience helping in the infant room of the learning center that I am employed with. I am a Labor and Delivery RN, BSN, RNC OB with 25 years of high risk nursing experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, breastfeeding support and newborn nursery. I want to do home and tele health visits to help support families in learning how to take great after birth care of mom and babies. Many couples in our area go home from the hospital feeling unsure and somewhat overwhelmed with their new precious responsibility. I would like to provide reassuring presence for them to make a comfortable, relaxed and confident start to their new job of parenting. I have a holistic approach to wellness and understand people's various approaches to what is best for their families. I have been involved with supporting a physiologic approach to childbirth since having my own sons 41 years ago. Supporting maximal health and wellness is my passion.

I am a birth doula and childbirth mentor/educator located in Orange County, CA. I'm Brazilian, and I'm a mom of two girls. My cultural Background and my daughter's birth experiences are deeply connected to my decision to become a doula. Growing up, I used to listen to my mother's birth stories, which helped me see childbirth as a grand and beautiful event. Her passion for Birth Work began in 2020 when she got pregnant with her daughter Kailani. During pregnancy she prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually for labor, but did not prepare for the postpartum period. With no family or support around made her 4th trimester a very difficult time for her and her partner. Yose completed her Birth Worker training with Bebo Mia Inc when her daughter was only 3 months old. After the training she realized that she wanted to take a more ancestral approach in birth work, and began learning about Mexican Birth and Postpartum Traditions. She Is constantly growing and learning! As your Doula Yose will walk with you through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
