Hi! My name is Robin and I'm a newborn nanny and trained newborn care specialist, working with first-time parents only and caring for babies 0 to 18 months. I educate parents with all aspects of newborn care such as feeding, fussiness, bathing, nursery essentials, nap training, swaddling, routines, and healthy sleep habits. In addition, I make this transitional period easier by cooking and baking for parents while baby sleeps (for a small additional fee). While working as a newborn nanny, I also teach baby sign language beginning at 5 months. I am also a certified virtual Sleep Consultant for babies ages four thru 18 months. I am a DONA-certified birth doula practicing in the Ann Arbor, MI area. I believe that doula support is a right, not a privilege, so my fees are nominal and my services are above and beyond. In addition to the usual DONA certification training, I am also trained through Survivor Moms and I also volunteer with the Michigan Prison Doula Initiative, in addition to my private practice. I have no time cut-off, so if your labor is moving slowly, I will stay with you all the way.
