The plan is to give birth at the birthing center and have an unmedicated water birth.

I plan on laboring at home for awhile before going to the hospital to carry out the birth. I do not want any interventions during birth(epidural, pitocin, constant fetal monitoring, manual water breaking, immediate cord cutting, new born vaccines, etc.) I will have a written birth plan to support these wishes. This will be my first birthing experience and I would love to have the support of a doula before/during this experience. I want to be as prepared as possible for an unmediated birth and have tools to help me through. The experience/support of a doula seems like a good fit for myself and my husband.

I'm hoping to have a natural, water, at home birth with a team of doulas and midwives to support me. I'm also open to birthing at a birthing center. I'm currently on Montana Medicaid so my budget is pretty limited if it's not covered by insurance. This is my first child and I'm extremely new to all of this so the more info and support, the better :)

I plan to give birth at community medical center. I am a student completing my undergraduate degree and I am so hopeful I will not have to postpone my fall semester. I feel with assistance overnight I can continue pursuing my undergrad without postponing the fall semester. I would need help approximately 3 days a week and would need this assistance for about 3 months. My budget cannot exceed $2,000.

I’m still trying to make all these decisions for myself, it is my first pregnancy and I’ve been looking into hypnobirthing so far. It’s something I’m really interested in and I’m hoping to find a doula who can help me continue to learn in that field.

I plan to give birth at Kootenai hospital with Dr. Meltzer. My birth plan is to stay unmedicated for as long as possible to ensure I am able to move to help baby descend properly. This will be a VBAC attempt. Dr. Meltzer is very supportive and believes that I should be able to have a vaginal delivery. He is also completely supportive of an unmedicated birth but will administer pain management at my request. Hospital policy requires two IVs for vbac but otherwise appears to be treated like any other birth. I want a doula to guide me through labor, support my very nervous/anxious husband, and be my backbone when I become vulnerable. Estimated budget ~$1,000 but I can be flexible. I am unsure of the going rate, to be honest.
