Hi, I’m Gabby and I would love to help you on this adventure of parenthood. I am following the footsteps of my aunt who is a doula and has dedicated her life to new mothers. I have a bachelors in healthcare administration with a focus on women’s health. I have worked with the public for over 10 years. I was a lifeguard for 6 years and that transitioned to the healthcare field which I have been in for the last 5 years. I have always found ways to integrate myself in the pregnancy world, I have worked on labor and delivery units in hospitals, and in an OB/GYN clinic. I have helped friends and family postpartum with their new bundles of joy adapt to this new life. I would love to help you too. I have learned tips and tricks through my experience in the pregnancy world and would love to share them with you. I believe knowledge is strength, and I am here to equip you with the best knowledge I have so you have confidence to succeed in this new journey in your life.

As a dedicated advocate, passionate follower of God, and accomplished entrepreneur, I find joy in bringing people together. By day, I’m a writer and aspiring politician; by night, I’m a compassionate doula supporting families through transformative moments. I am a birth doula trained by Warm Welcome Birth Services. I am a registered MassHealth provider, which means if you are a member, my services will be covered by state insurance. Informed by my experience seeing the homebirths of my two younger siblings (and being born at home with a midwife myself), I believe that everyone giving birth deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected, no matter where they give birth. In my work, I value autonomy and informed consent. I am committed to providing trauma-informed, inclusive, and justice-oriented care for all, including people of color, queer and trans folks, disabled people, and those belonging to all types of family structures. Myriam Lukoff, a native French speaker originally from Montreal is a compassionate doula and trained in Spinning Babies now living in Shrewsbury. With a degree in physiology from McGill University and over two decades experience in early childhood education, she integrates her knowledge and passion working with families towards a profound dedication in accompanying mothers on their unique childbirth journey. Myriam strives to empower women discovering and embracing their innate strength during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. She blends cultural sensitivity with unwavering support, ensuring every mother's voice is heard and honored. Her desire to become a doula was a result of how remarkably different and transformative each of her personal childbirth experiences were. Her volunteer work with organizations such as JFCS’s ‘Journey to Safety’ has deepened her commitment towards women feeling empowered, including those affected by domestic violence, highlighting her commitment to the safety and wellbeing of mothers and their children. Beyond her doula role, Myriam is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loves reading novels, playing the piano and spending time with her family.

Hi, I’m Kathleen Stern—a certified postpartum and birth doula, certified infant feeding specialist and an IBCLC candidate (international board certified lactation consultant), expecting to be certified in 2026. My goal is to build your confidence and provide relief so that you feel better when my visit ends. Whether you’re a first-time parent feeling nervous/excited or thinking “I don’t know what I don’t know,” or a seasoned parent looking for some more relief this time around, I’ve got you! Prior to working with infants and families, I earned a Masters in Teaching and had a rewarding 15-year education career— teaching students (mostly middle school English), coaching teachers, and helping others recognize their own strengths. I got into the perinatal world after I had a colicky baby in 2014 and was filled with exhaustion, self-doubt, and conflicting advice from well-meaning family and friends. I knew there must be a better way. For my second baby, I worked with a postpartum doula to provide me with the nonjudgmental, hands-on support I knew I would need. The difference between my first and second postpartum experiences prompted me to become a doula and lactation professional. My best advice for expecting families is, “Reach out for help before you think you need it. You're not supposed to be able to do this by yourself.” I live in the North Shore with my 11 and 8 year-old daughters and labradoodle. When I’m not with my family or holding babies, I love to garden, be active, and be by the water.
