With over seven years of experience, I have supported mothers through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum with a grounded, nurturing approach that honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. My mission is to create a birth experience that is peaceful, supported, and aligned with your personal preferences and care plan, while working in collaboration with your medical team. I believe birth is a deeply sacred and transformative journey, and every mother deserves to feel safe, empowered, and surrounded by calm, respectful support. I am CPR certified, Spinning Babies® certified, and breastfeeding support certified. I am also currently a student herbalist, with a passion for gentle, natural support in postpartum recovery and maternal wellness. I believe in the power of herbal tea care as a nurturing tool to support women through pregnancy and postpartum healing. I speak Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, and Spanish, allowing me to serve multicultural, immigrant, and bilingual families with cultural sensitivity and deep respect. I also provide herbal womb steaming, a culturally honored practice that promotes healing, relaxation, and overall wellness, while maintaining Christian-centered standards of care and modesty. To ensure that all families have access to the support they deserve, I proudly accept MassHealth insurance for doula services.
