Hi and congratulations! I am an evidence-based birth doula who believes in grounded, science-backed practices + traditional methods. I will work with you and your birthing team to help you develop a birthing plan and help you to prepare for your unique birth. Whether it is your first, second, or fifth birth, each pregnancy is different, and each birthing experience brings it's own unique beauty. Choosing Kathryn for my labor and delivery was, hands down, the best decision we made to help us navigate my first pregnancy. She made us feel safe and supported throughout my journey. When a possible pregnancy complication arose, she was there to talk through it and offer calming words of encouragement. When my labor pains were unbearable, she was there with a full body massage, which lasted hours. And when we chose to have the placenta stored, she was the caretaker who made sure it was stored safely and appropriately. Kathryn supported us so much that we chose her experience and knowledge for all three of my births. She was by my side for all three labors, supporting, massaging, helping me to reposition, and providing endless counter pressure during contractions. Kathryn cares deeply about you and your labor and delivery experience. She is a calm voice and a listening ear during a new experience. I am so grateful she was there, and I highly recommend her!
