I have been working in the behavioral health/social work field for the past 15 years and have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After several meetings with my own lactation consultant for my son, I realized that this was the profession I wanted to pursue. I earned my Master’s degree in Human Lactation Studies, interned at a local hospital, and am now an IBCLC.
