About Alyssa
Hi! I am a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, certified VBAC specialist, pediatric physical therapist, babywearing specialist, cloth diaper educator, and mom of two. I combine my passion for all things pregnancy, birth, and babies with evidence-based knowledge and unbiased, non-judgmental support to make my clients feel prepared and supported in their journey through birth and parenthood. I love building meaningful relationships with my clients and customizing my support to precisely fit what the client needs. I utilize my knowledge of the physiological process of birth, and experience as a physical therapist to help my clients find comfort and relaxation through various comfort measures such as massage, positioning, affirmations, and guided breathing. I am constantly striving to learn more and broaden my experience to give back to my clients.

Birth Doula Support
Two 2-hour prenatal visits with me to discuss birth preferences, types of support offered, community resources, etc. 24/7 text/email support Continuous support during your birthing time Postpartum support and help initiating breastfeeding if desired for up to 2 hours following your birth One postpartum visit approximately 1-2 weeks after your birth
Postpartum Doula Support
One 30-60 minute postpartum planning meeting (prenatally or before starting contracted service hours) to determine how you would best like to utilize your postpartum doula 24/7 text/email support Day, evening, and overnight support available Package prices vary by hours requested. 12 hours minimum required
Fertility Support Package
Text/email support, in-person meetings or support at appointments if desired Recommendations of helpful books and media to navigate your fertility journey, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond Discuss any fears or concerns regarding TTC, pregnancy, birth, etc. Support for those going through Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) - IUI, IVF, gestational carriers, donors, etc. $450 retainer, then $45/hour
Custom Childbirth Education
Feel confident and fully prepared for childbirth with my customized childbirth education courses! Tailor-fit to exactly what you want to learn about the birthing process Completely unbiased, evidence-based approach Group or private options Virtual or in-person options available Prices vary based on group/private and class package selected
Ultimate Support Package
Private childbirth education classes to help you feel confident and prepared for your birth Continuous in-person birth doula support 12 hours of postpartum doula support (can be split between overnight/day shifts as desired)
Comfort Measures Consultation
One 2-hour prenatal consultation to discuss your unique preferences for comfort measures during labor Teach birthing person and support partner how to provide physical and emotional comfort measures to relieve discomfort during labor Create a customized comfort measures quick reference sheet to bring to your birth Virtual or in-person options available
Birth Preferences Consultation
One 2-hour prenatal consultation to discuss your ideal birth and help you with creating your customized birth preferences sheet (birth plan) Interactive process and discussion Discuss and create a newborn care preferences sheet Assist with formatting easy-to-read birth & newborn preferences sheets Virtual or in-person options available
Babywearing Consultation
One 1-hour consultation to discuss all things babywearing! Discover the many different options for wearing your baby in a carrier, wrap, sling, and more Learn the basics of safe babywearing Consultant will use your personal baby carrier(s) to teach you how to put on your carrier, adjusting the fit, and get baby in and out Virtual or in-person options available
Cloth Diapering Consultation
One 2-hour consultation to discuss all things cloth diapering! Discover the many different options for cloth diapering your baby from newborn through potty learning Get hands-on practice folding, stuffing, and fitting cloth diapers Learn the basics of a solid wash routine Virtual or in-person options available
