Hi I'm Chena, lovingly known as Chey by the communities I serve as a Holistic Full-Spectrum Doula. I specializes in care for minority families, but serve all leading with the philosophy of believing and promoting the beliefs of natural physiological birth. I do so by teaching the steps of holistic wellness through mind, body and spirit connection with a special emphasis on the importance of mental health. I'm a Wife, a Mom of three children and the Owner and Operator of Butta's Holistic Services. My business is family centered where I mentor others in community care, encouraging sisterhood and promoting the importance of family support. Going through and utilizing spinning babies and the rebozo are helpful tools in the birthing space. She became interested in pregnancy and the birth process after having her first child in 2010. Shortly after, Ines started working for the childbirth education department at a prestigious Bergen County hospital, where she gained a great deal of knowledge about maternity services. After the birth of her second child in 2014, she decided to become a childbirth educator. Through her two birth experiences, she realized that the power of knowledge can have a positive impact on birth outcomes. While working as a childbirth educator at the hospital, Ines saw the necessity of giving additional support to her clients. She has trained with DONA International to obtain all the required skills to assist mothers during the birth process. When I had my "Little Prince" (Finn), and became involved in the birth world, I realized that I found a calling! Working with families through their pregnancies, and helping them embrace the new phase of life after birth, brings me much joy and satisfaction.
