About me

Hello I'm Safia Rock-Worrell, I am a trained Birth and Postpartum doula in the Gloucester County area of New Jersey. Birth work is not just my work, it is my passion. I believe in the scaredness of birth and that through education and preparing the right atmosphere, birth can be empowering and free. I believe "Your birth, Your choice". I will strive to help you have the birth you desire, as close as medically possible. I am always seeking to attain knowledge in birth work, to better serve my clients. When I am not serving or learning, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 7 children and our pup.

Service introduction

Hi my name is Safia! I'm a full spectrum doula in the Southern New Jersey area. I provide education and supportive care from the prenatal to the postpartum stage. As your doula I will attend both home and hospital births, providing continuous emotional, physical, and informational support regardless of the setting. My core role remains the same, advocating for the birthing family and providing support. Whether your birth is natural, medicated, epidural or c-section. My goal is always the same, establish a trusting bond with mutual respect so that the birther can have a positive birthing experience. After birth I do my best to make sure you and baby are bonding and having a good start to your chosen feeding methods. If breastfeeding, assisting in making sure a proper latch is established, and providing information on how to tell if baby if getting enough. Providing postpartum education on possible mood disorders, nutrition, and support. Extended postpartum support is available if desired. During this time I would provide emotional and recovery support, infant care guidance and feeding support, light household chores and meal prep, resources and referrals for additional care.

Our In-Home support includes:    - Infant care and soothing techniques  - Breastfeeding support and education  - Infant feeding assistance and education  - Support and education in postpartum adjustment, mood disorders, and normal changes  - care and support with siblings  - Laundry and light household help and support  - Meal preparation  - Caring for baby while mom rests  - 24/7 on call assistance  Package 1: $800 Monthly    4 In home postpartum sessions ( 4 hour sessions )
