About me

Being a Doula has brought much fulfillment into Jennifer’s life. As a Birth Worker, she enjoys being able to be a source of comfort and guidance for families. Seventeen years ago, she decided to become a birth & postpartum doula after working closely for years with her own grandmother, who was a midwife. It gave her the confidence and strength to pursue birth work. Her role as a birth worker allows her to provide the support parents and babies need in order to ease the transition into the amazing life of parenthood.  She is bilingual (English/Spanish) and is currently learning ASL. Other than being a Certified Full Spectrum Doula, Jennifer also holds an Associate’s Degree in Arts & Science: Psychology, Trauma-Informed Doula, Certified Adult/Pediatrics CPR/First Aid, Certified Herbalist, and continues to extend her knowledge by attending workshops such as, Spinning Babies and Pelvic Dynamics.  Jennifer adores her role as a mother of 3 amazing children. She enjoys leading nature walks, or teaching herbalism. Jennifer has years of experience with singletons and twins as well. She finds it to be an honor and privilege to help parents entering their postpartum journey.

Birth Doula
This comprehensive package includes continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during your birth journey. Here’s what’s included: • 1 Prenatal Home Visit: We’ll review key childbirth education topics, practice comfort techniques such as movement and counter-pressure, and go over your personalized birth plan. • Labor & Delivery Support: Continuous doula presence throughout active labor and delivery. I also remain with you for up to one hour after birth to support immediate skin-to-skin contact and assist with the first latch (if breastfeeding). • 1 Postpartum Home Visit: A follow-up visit to check in on your recovery, answer breastfeeding questions, and provide additional postpartum guidance. • Backup Doula Included: In the rare event I’m unable to attend your birth due to illness or emergency, a trusted backup doula will be available. You will have the opportunity to meet your backup virtually ahead of time for peace of mind.

Overnight Postpartum Support
As your Overnight Postpartum Doula, I provide: • Complete newborn care throughout the night, so you can rest and recover • Cleaning and sterilization of bottles and breast pump parts • Light household tasks, including household laundry and dishes • Breastfeeding support with helpful tips and tricks to make things easier • A flexible schedule tailored to your family’s needs My goal is to help you feel rested, supported, and confident during this special transition.
