Rasheada Wallace has been an absolute blessing to my family and me during the birth and early postpartum period of our newborn. From the moment we began working together, Rasheada Wallace exceeded our expectations in every way, offering not just professional support, but genuine care and compassion. Rasheada Wallace demonstrated a deep knowledge of birth and postpartum practices, and I felt completely confident in her expertise. Her calm presence and thoughtful guidance helped us navigate every challenge with grace, whether it was providing emotional support during labor or offering practical advice for newborn care. She always took the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions, and tailor her approach to meet our unique needs. What truly set Rasheada apart was her unwavering dedication to ensuring our well-being as new parents. Her support didn’t end at birth—she continued to check in, offering advice on breastfeeding, infant sleep, and self-care for me as I recovered. Her encouragement and reassurances were invaluable, and her hands-on assistance with our newborn allowed us to adjust to our new role with much more confidence and peace of mind.

Dia duit, hello! I am Eilís and I am a certified doula and full spectrum birth worker in Philadelphia PA. I have long been drawn to pregnancy and birth, and after the birth of my first baby at 16, I first trained to be a doula in 2005. I apprenticed and assisted with midwives for many years, and am also a trauma-informed social worker, herbalist, yoga teacher, and energy and body worker. I weave my experiences and skill sets together, providing intuitive and tailored physical, informational, educational, mental, emotional, and spiritual supports. I see the role of a doula or monitrice as a steward- someone to tend to and watch over the person, couple, family during labor, birth, and postpartum and providing care and remedies as is fit and called for. Every birth, body, baby is unique and I see it as my role to meet everyone where they're at. Some people need every bell and whistle, some people need their back squeezed for 12 hours, some people need a quiet, confident witness to be present, but hands off. I am here for all of that and everything in between. Outside of birth work, I am a mother to seven and I love to garden, cook, learn Irish, swim in all bodies of water, and overall, just have a good time of it.

Eilís was my birth doula for my first child and I couldn't recommend her more! My husband and I felt comfortable immediately the first time we met with her and she met with us several times pre-natal to talk through what I wanted in my birth experience. She was on-call the weeks around my due date and I felt comfortable texting her when I wasn't sure if my contractions had started. Having her with me during labor was so helpful! She offered counter-pressure, suggested positions, helped me navigate decision-making, and talked me through contractions. It was so helpful to have someone on my team with calm confidence. After my baby was born, Eilís met with me several times, she brought me teas, she talked through my birth experience and offered advice on early parenthood. Truly, I would not want to do this again without her!

Hi, my name is Iris, and I am a doula in the Philadelphia area! My driving philosophy is that it takes a village--and for many years, I delved into that through nannying, helping parents care and raise their littles, but now my goal has been to rewind a little--and focus on the foundation of where that starts. With the parents and the births! As a doula, I am here to support you in your journey to parenthood! While that may look different depending on your family's needs, it generally means I am here to support you in figuring out what a satisfying birth looks like to you and to advocate for you during the stress of labor, so that you may focus on the labor itself! So while I am newer to the doula realm, I am a veteran in "being the village" and supporting growing families--I can't wait to support yours! I am currently offering discounts for my first ten clients and payment plans/sliding scale is always available as well! Feel free to email with inquiries regarding services or availability at Imwfamilysupport@gmail.com.

Iris was a great help with our kids this summer! She’s very hands on with whatever activity they’re getting into and has built such a great connection with them. They are always so excited on days she comes in and this is especially true when she brings her daughter—who, as far as they’re concerned, is just there for a playdate! Having the extra hand made such a difference over the 3 months as made the move from our old home to our new one! We wish her the best of luck!

I hired Nia Nchami as a doula for the birth of my second daughter in 2022. After an initial conversation via email, she came to our house and really listened to my concerns, fears and hopes for my delivery. She took extensive notes and created a birth plan that truly encapsulated what I wanted for the birth. We stayed in contact for several months and talked more frequently as my due day neared. When the day came, she was a force of nature. She kept me calm and confident. She helped me to navigate the birthing process. But most importantly, advocated for me with my doctors, nurses and healthcare staff to ensure that I received the best care. I can truly say that I had a much better experience giving birth than the first time and Nia was a big reason why. She is extremely professional, but also calm and caring. I’m so glad that I found her!

I have been so lucky to hire Melissa twice as a doula now and I could not recommend her services enough. She is a wonderful advocate for mothers and truly listened to what I needed. She gave me the space to think about what my needs might be and I don’t think I would have known without her there to ask those questions. She helped prep our whole family in a way where I felt so well cared for. For both of the births Melissa was there for, as soon as she walked in I felt a huge sigh of relief. She was there and she had me and my back and I fully trusted her to guide me. We were also fortunate enough to hire her postpartum doulas! We had the pleasure of working with Veronica, Danielle and Bernadette. Everyone brought different outstanding qualities that were a total joy to experience. They went above and beyond to learn about our families needs and fit right in. I trusted all of them with my postpartum care, cooking meals, giving my husband a break and endless sibling entertainment for my bigger kids so I could snuggle in bed with our new baby. I felt so well supported my body was able to heal physically and I could emotionally take space when needed. There was always round the clock care and they were quick to fill our schedule when I quickly realized I needed more support than I had initially intended. I wish all mothers could experience this kind of care.

We had the pleasure of having Monica as our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. Monica is sweet, caring, and hard working. She supported my feeding goals, whether I wanted her to bring me baby to breastfeed or wanted her to offer baby a bottle so I could get some extra sleep. In addition to helping to care for our newborn, she was a tremendous help with cleaning bottles and pump parts and folding laundry - all the tasks that helped us focus on baby and get some extra sleep. Monica was a big help to us during the postpartum period and we gladly recommend her!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Working with Dee the Labor Doula was truly a blessing! From the very first conversation, Dee made me feel comfortable, supported, and understood. She was there every step of the way checking in during my pregnancy, answering my late night questions, and making sure I felt prepared for birth. During labor, Dee was calm, reassuring, and such a strong advocate for me. She helped with breathing, comfort measures, and reminded me of my strength when I started to doubt myself. My partner also felt included and supported, which made the experience even more special for us as a family. Postpartum, Dee continued to check in and provide resources that made the transition into motherhood so much smoother. I can’t thank her enough for her compassion, knowledge, and care. If you’re in South Jersey or the Philadelphia area and looking for a doula, I HIGHLY recommend Dee the Labor Doula LLC! — Happy Mama & Family

Meet Kamilla Kamilla is a Full Spectrum Doula through Cornerstone Birthwork Training, as well as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) trained through Newborn Care Solutions. With over 5 years of international experience, she is passionate about providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized support to families during the postpartum and newborn period. Born and raised in Brazil in a large, loving family, Kamilla grew up surrounded by caregiving. Inspired by her grandmother, a traditional midwife, she developed a deep connection to newborn care, maternal support, and nurturing practices from an early age. Her passion for postpartum care became even more personal after supporting her own mother through postpartum depression. This experience gave her a deeper understanding of how vulnerable, emotional, and overwhelming the postpartum transition can be. Through her professional experience, she has also supported families navigating baby blues and postpartum depression, always providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support while recognizing when additional professional care may be needed. Kamilla has additional training in Montessori Education, Sleep Training through Summer Secret, and Early Childhood Development. She is currently continuing her education in Breastfeeding Education through CAPPA and pursuing her nursing education to further expand her knowledge of maternal and newborn care. With a background in law and extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns and supporting families, Kamilla brings together professional education, practical experience, and genuine compassion. She understands that postpartum is not always the beautiful, effortless experience portrayed online. It can be exhausting, emotional, unpredictable, and overwhelming. Her goal is to create a calm and supportive environment where parents can rest, recover, bond with their baby, and feel confident in their new role. Kamilla provides individualized support based on each family’s unique needs, with a focus on newborn care, postpartum recovery, sleep support, feeding support, and the emotional well-being of the family. Her philosophy is simple: When we care for the mother, we care for the entire family.

Hello! I'm Vânia, a certified postpartum doula and the founder of The Rested Mama Village. What I do is simple to describe and hard to do well: I take the night, so you can take the morning. For twelve years I've cared for newborns and their families, starting in 2014 with five-day-old twins on an exchange program in the Netherlands, then across England, Austria, New York, and, since 2019, eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I've supported premature twins on their first night home, babies born through surrogacy, NICU graduates, and reflux that keeps a whole household awake. I'm ProDoula certified, DONA International trained, and CPR/First Aid certified. I hold a degree in Social Work from Brazil and I'm currently studying nursing at Bucks County Community College. All families are welcome here: LGBTQ+ families, single parents, families grown through surrogacy. I'm not here to tell you how to parent. I'm here to listen, respect your choices, and help you find your own rhythm, in English or Portuguese. Based in Bucks County and serving eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Vania, our certified postpartum doula..She was an absolute godsend during my C-section recovery, providing exceptional care for both our newborn and me. As a certified doula and nursing student, she is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to what she does. She went above and beyond, helping with newborn care, bottle washing, baby laundry, keeping everything tidy, and preparing nutritious meals to support my recovery. She made it possible for me to truly rest and focus on healing, knowing our baby was in the most loving and capable hands. She is responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and genuinely treats your children as her own. We continue to use her for overnights, and our girls are always overjoyed to see her, which speaks volumes about the special bond she has built with them. She is truly a gem, and I would recommend her without hesitation to any family. We are so grateful to have her in our lives!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about OS Care Service. From the very beginning, Olga made me feel supported, informed, and truly cared for. Her calm presence and deep knowledge helped ease my anxieties throughout my pregnancy and especially during labor. She provided not only physical comfort techniques but also emotional support that made such a difference in my birthing experience. Olga was attentive, patient, and always available when I had questions or needed reassurance. After the birth, her newborn care support was just as incredible—she helped me feel more confident as a new parent and made the transition so much smoother. If you are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional, and genuinely passionate about what she does, I highly recommend OS Care Service. Having Olga as my doula was one of the best decisions I made for myself and my baby.

We had an exceptional experience with Forever Doula and highly recommend their postpartum doula services as well as the pre-birth class. Our doula, Gabrielle, supported our family during both day and night shifts in the first month after bringing our newborn home to the southeastern Monmouth county area. The overnight support was truly invaluable. Being able to get a full night's sleep occasionally made such a difference during those early weeks, and knowing our baby was in caring, capable hands gave us tremendous peace of mind. Beyond newborn care, Gabrielle was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive as we worked through breastfeeding and latching challenges. Her guidance, encouragement, and calm presence helped build our confidence as new parents. We also participated in a pre-birth class with Sarah, which was extremely helpful as we prepared for our baby's arrival. With so much information available online and through social media, it can be overwhelming to know what advice to trust. Sarah helped us make sense of everything we were seeing and hearing, provided practical guidance, and patiently answered all of our questions. While we didn't feel that a birth doula was the right fit for us, the pre-birth class was the perfect compromise. We benefited from an experienced doula's expertise in the comfort of our own home, which gave us the confidence and knowledge we needed heading into delivery and those first weeks of parenthood. Throughout our time with Forever Doula, both Gabrielle and Sarah were professional, reliable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in our family's well-being. We were fortunate to have access to these services through my employer's benefits, but after experiencing the value firsthand, I would absolutely recommend Forever Doula even if I were paying entirely out of pocket. The support we received was worth every penny and made a meaningful difference during one of the most important transitions in our lives.

October 2026

I was looking for overnight support for when we had our first baby and my friend recommended Sara and Forever Doula. She was really responsive when I emailed and set up a call later that day. In our first call, I felt heard and cared for. She assured me that they have worked with Carrot fertility many times and everything would go smoothly. It sure did. I hired two doulas for my overnight care and it was amazing. I initially didn’t want two because I was worried the care would be inconsistent. It never was. They never missed a beat. Every night they would come in fully aware of what changes needed to be made and how to address my son. I had a successful breastfeeding journey because of my support but equally as important to me, I felt constantly supported. I couldn’t recommend forever doula enough.

Melissa and her company are absolutely amazing. She has been an invaluable resource in helping us navigate the newborn phase. She has helped us keep our sanity more than once. She has amazing technique, experience, kindness, and empathy. I feel more confident as a parent after working with her and I am definitely well rested. I will continue to work with her as our little one grows. I can not recommend her enough.
