I having my first baby. I plan to have an unmedicated, natural birth at Saint Peter's birth center in New Brunswick, NJ. I would love a doula to coach my husband to ensure he is part of the process as well. I would love a doula that brings helpful labor tools (TENS unit, birth ball etc). It would be a bonus if my doula could also photograph the moment.

I just moved to Stewartsville, NJ and I am a first time, soon to be mom. I am currently in the process of transferring obgyn and haven’t found a hospital yet. What I do know is, I want a unmedicated birth. I am looking for someone who could help me prepare myself for labor as well as postpartum recovery. I have years of experience with children of all ages so I am not too worried about daily newborn tasks. I am most concerned about my well being before and after birth. My husband also works nights so there is a possibility I may need some assistance at night if things aren’t going well but I obviously won’t know until we get to that point! Hello! I am a first-time expectant mom looking for a birth doula available around my November 19 due date for a delivery at Jersey City Medical Center. My preference is an unmedicated vaginal birth, though I am open to an epidural and other interventions if labor calls for it. Because this is my first birth, I am looking for a doula who uses a fact- and evidence-based approach to help me and my partner navigate the labor process with clear data, statistics, and calm guidance. My main priorities for support are guidance through physical pain relief techniques, evidence-based informational support, and strong, seamless advocacy within a hospital setting. I plan to give birth at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. I am in the process of developing my birth plan. I generally prefer to not use medicine but open to exploring. I feel very strongly I do not want a Caesarian section. Looking for general assistance once we bring the child home, however, I would also be open to having someone be an advocate for me in the delivery room. Once the baby is home I will want someone to check for signs of infection, improvements or safety checks for the home and coaching the parents and mother-in-law on healthy habits.
