First baby, planning a hospital birth at Morristown Medical Center. I’m looking for a doula who brings a calm, gentle, and reassuring presence and can provide hands-on birthing support, guidance, and advocacy throughout labor and delivery. As a first-time mom, I’d love someone who can help me feel informed and confident in my choices, explain what’s happening along the way, and help me communicate my wishes with my care team. I’d also love support with comfort measures, positioning, breathing, and creating a peaceful environment, while helping my husband feel involved and supported as well. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone kind, compassionate, patient, and nurturing who can help us feel calm and supported throughout the experience.

- I would like to give birth at a birth center/c-section/water birth. - i’m still waiting to hear from my insurance (Charity Care or WellPoint) but I think a little over $1500 - I mean, i feel like CPR + any life-or-death certifications, I don’t want someone extremely young or religious, I would like someone who speaks Spanish fluently to explain things to my family. - I’m 20 years old and my husband is 23 years old (our birthdays are before the delivery) - To be honest I would like sleep training as well as cooking and the best things to always have in mind this is our first kid!
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate live-in newborn care specialist to provide 24/7 support for our growing family for approximately 2–3 months, depending on our baby's sleep development and our family's needs. This is for our second child, and we're looking for someone who can become a trusted partner during this special season while fitting seamlessly into our family as we all navigate the transition—especially our toddler. We were incredibly fortunate to have the most amazing night nurse with our first baby, and she truly became part of our family. We still keep in touch with her today, and we're hoping to find someone who values building that same kind of long-term, trusting relationship. We're looking for more than a caregiver—we're looking for someone who will provide warmth, confidence, guidance, and support during those precious first months. Provider Requirements Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), Postpartum Doula, or equivalent certification preferred Extensive professional experience caring for newborns from birth CPR and Infant First Aid certified Exceptional references required Non-smoker Knowledge of gentle, evidence-based newborn sleep practices Comfortable supporting breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or combination feeding Warm, proactive, organized, and professional with excellent communication skills
