We are seeking an experienced, compassionate live-in newborn care specialist to provide 24/7 support for our growing family for approximately 2–3 months, depending on our baby's sleep development and our family's needs. This is for our second child, and we're looking for someone who can become a trusted partner during this special season while fitting seamlessly into our family as we all navigate the transition—especially our toddler. We were incredibly fortunate to have the most amazing night nurse with our first baby, and she truly became part of our family. We still keep in touch with her today, and we're hoping to find someone who values building that same kind of long-term, trusting relationship. We're looking for more than a caregiver—we're looking for someone who will provide warmth, confidence, guidance, and support during those precious first months. I feel very strongly I do not want a Caesarian section. Looking for general assistance once we bring the child home, however, I would also be open to having someone be an advocate for me in the delivery room. Once the baby is home I will want someone to check for signs of infection, improvements or safety checks for the home and coaching the parents and mother-in-law on healthy habits.

Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers.
