1st baby, single mom to-be, planning hospital birth barnabas NJ, hoping for minimal medical intervention, hoping to find IBCLC that takes BCBS to consult, especially post-partum if needed. Also interested to learn about night nurses and doulas.

Delivered at nyu in the city, son was born at 38 weeks, vaginal birth with epidural. Was a terrible experience where I didnt feel like I had a voice. Everything escalated really quickly. And hoping to have that additional layer of guidance and support this time around.

I having my first baby. I plan to have an unmedicated, natural birth at Saint Peter's birth center in New Brunswick, NJ. I would love a doula to coach my husband to ensure he is part of the process as well. I would love a doula that brings helpful labor tools (TENS unit, birth ball etc). It would be a bonus if my doula could also photograph the moment.
