Hi! I'm a first time mom with Cigna, looking for a doula to help support me as a woman with several risk factors, like lichen sclerosis, advanced maternal age, and anxiety. I'd like a doula for prenatal consultation(s), labor support, and breastfeeding education/assistance. We'd like to cap out out-of-pocket budget around $1,000, if possible. I'm hoping to find someone who has experience supporting births at Englewood Hospital, has extensive experience as a doula, and is supportive of a medicated birth. It's important to me to work with someone who will respect my birth preferences while providing guidance, advocacy, and evidence-based support throughout the process.

looking for a certified doula who is a sleep consultant
I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal. I understand despite some things are out of my control, I can help myself to have a better delivery and post partum outcome. 1. Monmouth Medical Center 2. Unsure, I am looking to see if I have insurance coverage.

I'm open to discussing pain management options and creating a birth plan together as I learn more throughout my pregnancy. I plan to give birth at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ I don't have a specific budget at this time. I'm looking for information about your services and pricing to determine the best fit for my family.
