Hello, I am a second time mom but first time wanting to exclusively breastfeeding. Baby was born and latched really well, my milk came in within three days and all was well, day four [personal details hidden], it hurt at the touch and to feed my son, but pushed through. For two days my pediatrician did recommend substituting formula [personal details hidden]. So bottle was introduced but since those two days I have been trying to get my son back to fully breastfeeding. I try to stay away from the bottle, but night time I realized that my son cries at my breast and won’t want to latch and begins to cry. So at most he only has one or two bottle feeds, which I’d like to drop.When being bottle feed I do use my pumped milk. On top of that I recently have been [personal details hidden] which has severely impacted my confidence with breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is something I really want to do for as long as I can, but I do have questions and know that with guidance I can get to my goal. Thank you.

We are expecting twin boys in December and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist for overnight support in Manhattan. Ideally, we would like help 4–5 nights per week, approximately 10–12 hours per night, for the first 1-2 months after delivery. We are specifically looking for someone with strong newborn experience, preferably someone who has cared for twins overnight independently. Support would include feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, bottle washing/preparation, and helping establish a safe sleep routine so that my husband and I can get some rest. Experience with premature or early-term babies would be a plus. CPR certification and references are preferred. We are flexible on the exact schedule and would love to discuss availability, experience with twins, and rates. Japanese-speaking would be a plus, but is not required.
