I need a Doula to help with the baby after birth, during the day for 3-4 days the beginning, help with washing the baby and changing diapers and then just at night to wash and feed the baby, rock the baby back to sleep or change diapers, etc as needed. My budget is max $2,500, I’d like to have someone for at least 2 weeks if not 3 weeks after birth, depending on their rate. Will be helpful if they also can help take out the garbage to the curb, since I hear babies go through diapers very quickly. (I also need help with feeding the cat, 1-2 times at night if he cries for food as well). This is my first child, so I may also need some training and advice on what to do.

I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time.
