My Amber, my Amber (yes !! I literally yelled her name during delivery 😂)… where do I even begin? Amber was simply AMAZINGGGG. From answering late-night messages to showing up for impromptu emergency visits, she was always present. She made me feel instantly comfortable we clicked right away because Amber is truly a whole vibe. What I loved most is how wholeheartedly involved she was. She advocated for me every step of the way and brought so much knowledge and passion into this journey. And listen… as a mom who has birthed FOUR babies, she still taught me things I never even knew. That says everything. In such a short time, Amber became family. We’re going on three months postpartum and I can still text her, vent, and just be real no judgment, just love and support. She made this experience unforgettable, and honestly, I just wish I had found her sooner. If you’re looking for a doula who will make you laugh, cry with you, turn the delivery room into a karaoke concert, hold you accountable (because she DOES NOT play 😌), while holding your hand and making you feel completely seen and validated she is the doula for you. Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussd ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!

Five Stars Isn't Enough for Ms. Riley There are some people who come into your life during your darkest moments and leave a permanent impact. For me, that person was Ms. Riley. I hired Ms. Riley as my NICU Doula while pregnant with my twins, and from the very beginning she was by my side. She was there for my birth, she supported me throughout the entire three months that my twins were in the NICU, and after they were discharged, she continued caring for my babies as our NICU Newborn Care Specialist for an additional three months. In total, Ms. Riley walked alongside my family for six incredibly important months of our journey. What makes her support even more meaningful is the fact that I had no family support system. During my pregnancy, my husband decided to divorce me when I was only four months pregnant with twins. I was facing one of the most difficult seasons of my life, feeling scared, overwhelmed, and alone. Through it all, Ms. Riley was a constant source of support, encouragement, and compassion. Ms. Riley has a way of making every mother feel seen, heard, and cared for. She affectionately calls us her "baby mothers," and I have to admit, that always made me laugh during a time when I desperately needed something to smile about. It may seem like a small thing, but her ability to bring comfort, humor, and warmth into difficult situations is truly a gift. She consistently went above and beyond for me and my twins. Whether it was providing guidance, emotional support, newborn care expertise, or simply being present when I needed someone most, she showed up every single time. I never felt judged, rushed, or alone. Instead, I felt supported, empowered, and capable as a first-time mother navigating an unexpected and challenging journey. Ms. Riley, it is so clear that this is your calling. The love, dedication, patience, and commitment you bring to your families cannot be taught. You have a rare gift, and I truly believe doors will continue to open for you because of the impact you have on the lives of mothers and babies. We need more people like you, not only in newborn care but throughout the healthcare industry as a whole. I will absolutely be booking Ms. Riley's services again when I'm ready to return to work, even though I work remotely, because the peace of mind she provides is priceless. I am giving Ms. Riley five stars, but honestly, stars don't come close to describing how she made me feel. If you truly understand what a halo represents, then that's what she deserves: unlimited halos. Thank you, Ms. Riley, for helping me survive and thrive during one of the hardest and most beautiful chapters of my life. I will be forever grateful.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Wis!!! Though she wasn’t physically in my delivery room, she played a big part in my birth. She provided so much information that was not only interesting but very useful. She helped me a lot when it came to advocating for myself as a high risk mom. I had a few situations where I felt uncomfortable about the circumstances around how my child was born but Wis prayed with me and provided valuable resources so that I could make informed decisions about my care. Choosing Wis to be your doula would never be a mistake. The love, the care, and dedication she puts into this is beyond a job. As I sit here 2 months postpartum. The reality of being a first time mom is starting to set in. As I think back, the whole experience from being pregnant to giving birth is so crazy! Before I went to Jade's childbirth class at Montclair BABY, I had never heard of a doula. Her class was holistic of all the options during labor and delivery, and my husband and I felt like Jade could be the perfect support person to ease my anxiety during pregnancy and labor. We were absolutely right. Jade offered continuous comfort and information for me throughout my pregnancy. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and gave advice for things I hadn't even considered. Being someone who has always been terrified of childbirth, Jade eased my anxiety leaps and bounds. We prepared for it beforehand, but once I went into labor, Jade supported us over the phone and at my home before we went to the hospital. My birth went from something that I used to fear, to something I now look back on with fond memories (I think that's a wild transformation) and I truly credit a lot of that to Jade. She was an advocate for me at the hospital, she rarely left my side except when I needed alone time with my husband, and she encouraged me. She worked cooperatively with the rest of the birth team. Dare I say birth was actually a little fun? I whole heartedly recommend Jade as a doula and would love to have her at my future births. There really aren't enough words to describe how grateful I am for her.

I feel so blessed that I was able to have Jenna during the end of my pregnancy, during the birth of my son, and postpartum. It is so evident that she really cares so much, and I was so grateful for all the check ins during my pregnancy and postpartum!! No question was ever too much for her and I’m so grateful for her extensive knowledge, kindness and care. My birth didn’t go as I had initially planned, but Jenna helped us to ensure this birth experience was positive and helped us to navigate decisions we didn’t anticipate. When I had complications after birth, she even drove back to the hospital to be there for me and my husband- I mean amazing!! My only regret is not finding her sooner! Where to start? My husband and I met Janet earlier in our pregnancy when we decided we wanted to have a doula for our first birthing experience. As soon as I spoke with Janet, I knew it was going to be a great match. Janet not only took care of me, she also made sure my husband was taken care of. During our prenatal meetings, she asked us a lot of questions about what we wanted for our birth experience and took our wishes very seriously. She did not try to push anything onto us and made sure we were making educated decisions on subjects we weren’t as familiar with. Janet came with an abundance of resources and knowledge, as well as a lot of experience. Leading up to the day I went into labor, Janet and I spoke on a very regular basis via text and she was always available for any questions I had. During my labor, Janet helped to remind me the techniques we discussed in our prenatal meetings and to take things one contraction at a time. I am so thankful for her and could not recommend her doula services more.

Having Michelle as part of our birth process was one of the absolute best decisions we made. We really wanted someone who had a deep knowledge and could help prepare us yet also be emotionally / psychologically supportive - and she was incredible. Michelle prepared us thoroughly regarding what to expect, provided us lots of 'tools' (i.e. resources, information, exercises, etc) to have in our toolbox, and when things were happening during labor she was a grounding presence able to help ask the right questions, make sure I was approaching things the way I wanted to, and we felt incredibly supported the whole time. From the moment I met Liz she filled me up with excitement instead of fear. She reminded me that my body was made for this. Melissa Wiltsey was our night doula for both of our sons, and we cannot recommend her enough. The fact that we brought her back for our second baby probably says it best. She knows what she is doing. From the first night home, she had a calm that settled the whole house. She was a huge help with breastfeeding, full of practical advice that actually worked, and she had a real gift for soothing a fussy newborn at 2 a.m. while we finally got some sleep. What stuck with us most was how much she clearly cared about our boys, not just the job. Those early weeks are a blur for most new parents, and Melissa was the reason ours felt manageable. If you are looking for a night doula, you will be in very good hands with her.
