About Mony

My journey as a doula has been shaped by my passion for supporting families through birth and postpartum. Becoming a mother deepened the way I see birth, postpartum, and the importance of compassionate support. My own experience gave me an even deeper understanding of what families may need during this transformative season and strengthened my commitment to providing thoughtful, compassionate care. I provide calm, nonjudgmental care tailored to each family’s unique needs. Whether supporting you during labor, helping you recover after birth, assisting with newborn care, feeding, soothing techniques, or simply offering reassurance during those first weeks, my goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and never alone. It is a privilege to walk alongside families as they welcome their babies with confidence and peace.

I can’t recommend Mony enough! She was my birth doula and supported me throughout my entire pregnancy. After my prenatal appointments, I often left with so many questions, and Mony was always there to answer them, reassure me, and help me understand everything better. On the day of my birth, Mony stayed by my side the entire time. She gave me so much emotional and physical support, and my husband was also very grateful to have her there with us. What meant the most to me was that even after my baby was born, Mony stayed with us until we were moved to the postpartum room. She helped me during those first moments with my newborn and made me feel more confident and supported. Having Mony by my side during such an important time in my life was truly special. I’m so grateful for all the care and support she gave me and my family. If you are looking for a doula who will truly care about you, listen to you, and support you throughout your birth, I highly recommend Mony. I’m so happy I had her by my side.

I’m a second-time mom, but my first experience was 13 years ago. When I got pregnant again, I realized how much had changed and how many questions I had. Hiring Mony was one of the best decisions I made. I had prenatal consultations with her and later received her postpartum support as well, all online. It made me feel so much more confident and prepared. She explains everything in a simple way, has a lot of experience, and most importantly, knows how to support and listen to a mother without judgment. I highly recommend Mony’s services to other moms, especially those going through a new pregnancy after many years.

Frequently asked questions

What is your approach to supporting families during labor?

My approach is centered on providing calm, compassionate, and continuous support while respecting each family’s individual preferences and birth choices. I provide physical and emotional support throughout labor, comfort measures, encouragement, and evidence-based information so parents feel informed, confident, and supported in making their own decisions.

When do you join the family during labor?

I join the family when they feel they are ready for my support, based on their individual needs and birth plan. I remain available by phone and on call starting at 38 weeks, providing guidance and support as labor begins and joining them when it is the right time.

What happens if you are unavailable or have another client in labor?

I maintain clear communication with my clients throughout the on-call period. If I am unavailable due to an unexpected situation or attending another birth, I have a trusted backup doula available to provide support when needed, ensuring that you are never left without care and support during labor.

What does an overnight doula do?

During an overnight shift, I care for the baby while the parents rest. This may include feeding support, burping, diaper changes, soothing, settling the baby back to sleep, and maintaining a calm nighttime routine.

Do you handle bottles during the night?

Yes. I can prepare bottles, wash and sterilize bottles used during my shift, and ensure feeding supplies are clean and ready for the next feeding.

Do you do baby laundry?

Yes. When time allows during the overnight shift, I can take care of the baby's laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away baby clothing and linens.

Do you keep notes about the baby's night?

Yes. I provide detailed notes about the baby's overnight care, including feeding times and amounts, diaper changes, sleep periods, and anything important the parents should know in the morning.

Will I need to wake up during the night?

My goal is to allow parents to get as much uninterrupted rest as possible. If the baby needs to feed directly from the parent, I will bring the baby to them and take over again once the feeding is complete.

Is overnight newborn care medical care?

No. I provide non-medical newborn and postpartum support. I do not diagnose, treat medical conditions, administer medical treatments, or replace a pediatrician, midwife, or other healthcare professional.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for families expecting a baby, because overnight availability can fill quickly. We can reserve your expected start date and adjust the schedule as needed after the baby arrives.

What if I need overnight care for several weeks?

I offer extended-care options for families who would like consistent overnight support for multiple weeks. Please contact me with your preferred schedule so I can create a personalized quote.
