My Amber, my Amber (yes !! I literally yelled her name during delivery 😂)… where do I even begin? Amber was simply AMAZINGGGG. From answering late-night messages to showing up for impromptu emergency visits, she was always present. She made me feel instantly comfortable we clicked right away because Amber is truly a whole vibe. What I loved most is how wholeheartedly involved she was. She advocated for me every step of the way and brought so much knowledge and passion into this journey. And listen… as a mom who has birthed FOUR babies, she still taught me things I never even knew. That says everything. In such a short time, Amber became family. We’re going on three months postpartum and I can still text her, vent, and just be real no judgment, just love and support. She made this experience unforgettable, and honestly, I just wish I had found her sooner. If you’re looking for a doula who will make you laugh, cry with you, turn the delivery room into a karaoke concert, hold you accountable (because she DOES NOT play 😌), while holding your hand and making you feel completely seen and validated she is the doula for you. Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussed ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Wis!!! Though she wasn’t physically in my delivery room, she played a big part in my birth. She provided so much information that was not only interesting but very useful. She helped me a lot when it came to advocating for myself as a high risk mom. Before I went to Jade's childbirth class at Montclair BABY, I had never heard of a doula. Her class was holistic of all the options during labor and delivery, and my husband and I felt like Jade could be the perfect support person to ease my anxiety during pregnancy and labor. We were absolutely right. Jade offered continuous comfort and information for me throughout my pregnancy. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and gave advice for things I hadn't even considered. Being someone who has always been terrified of childbirth, Jade eased my anxiety leaps and bounds. We prepared for it beforehand, but once I went into labor, Jade supported us over the phone and at my home before we went to the hospital. My birth went from something that I used to fear, to something I now look back on with fond memories (I think that's a wild transformation) and I truly credit a lot of that to Jade. She was an advocate for me at the hospital, she rarely left my side except when I needed alone time with my husband, and she encouraged me. She worked cooperatively with the rest of the birth team. Dare I say birth was actually a little fun? I whole heartedly recommend Jade as a doula and would love to have her at my future births. There really aren't enough words to describe how grateful I am for her.

I feel so blessed that I was able to have Jenna during the end of my pregnancy, during the birth of my son, and postpartum. It is so evident that she really cares so much, and I was so grateful for all the check ins during my pregnancy and postpartum!! No question was ever too much for her and I’m so grateful for her extensive knowledge, kindness and care. Where to start? My husband and I met Janet earlier in our pregnancy when we decided we wanted to have a doula for our first birthing experience. As soon as I spoke with Janet, I knew it was going to be a great match. Janet not only took care of me, she also made sure my husband was taken care of. During our prenatal meetings, she asked us a lot of questions about what we wanted for our birth experience and took our wishes very seriously. She did not try to push anything onto us and made sure we were making educated decisions on subjects we weren’t as familiar with. Janet came with an abundance of resources and knowledge, as well as a lot of experience. Leading up to the day I went into labor, Janet and I spoke on a very regular basis via text and she was always available for any questions I had. During my labor, Janet helped to remind me the techniques we discussed in our prenatal meetings and to take things one contraction at a time. I am so thankful for her and could not recommend her doula services more.

When I found out I was expecting, I felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. I knew I wanted support during my pregnancy and birth, but I wasn’t entirely sure what that would look like. Elizabeth supported me throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Throughout my pregnancy it was so helpful to have her just a text or phone call away if I had any questions, anxiety, or someone to vent to. As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions (e.g. "is XYZ normal??") and put a lot of pressure on myself to become educated on pregnancy and labor/birth. Elizabeth always provided empathetic and evidenced-based responses which helped me make informed decisions. It was a blessing that I didn't need to go down Google rabitholes. She proactively checked in on me, helped me prepare for doctor appointments, and supported me during any complications that arose during my pregnancy. She educated my husband and me on what to expect during labor, how he could support me, and how we could advocate for the care we wanted. She helped us develop a birth plan and stick to it. My labor and birth went better than I could have hoped for, and without her, I don't think that would have been the case. To anyone considering doula, I highly recommend working with Elizabeth!
