I feel so blessed that I was able to have Jenna during the end of my pregnancy, during the birth of my son, and postpartum. It is so evident that she really cares so much, and I was so grateful for all the check ins during my pregnancy and postpartum!! No question was ever too much for her and I’m so grateful for her extensive knowledge, kindness and care. My birth didn’t go as I had initially planned, but Jenna helped us to ensure this birth experience was positive and helped us to navigate decisions we didn’t anticipate. She helped me feel at peace when I had questions and helped me feel empowered to make decisions that I knew were best for me. When I had complications after birth, she even drove back to the hospital to be there for me and my husband- I mean amazing!! My only regret is not finding her sooner! I didn’t initially plan on having a doula, but I am SO glad I found Jenna and would recommend her to anyone whether this is your first baby or your 3rd! I know my birth experience would have been drastically different if it weren’t for her. Thank you Jenna, we are so very thankful for you!!

We cannot recommend Jen enough! As first-time parents, my husband was initially on the fence about having a doula, but after our baby girl was born he said to me, “okay, you were right, she is worth it, and is great!!” From beginning to end, She was so knowledgeable, insightful, and she helped us navigate the experience in a way that I don’t think we could have done on our own. One moment that really stood out was when I was struggling to get our baby girl to latch after delivery. The hospital gave me a hand pump and basically said it probably wouldn’t be much, but to use it. Jen immediately told us to ask for an electric pump, something I probably wouldn’t have even thought to ask for while exhausted and trying to navigate breastfeeding, latching, and the pressure of making sure our baby was gaining enough weight. (I was upset they wouldn’t just offer that) She helped make that whole process feel a lot less overwhelming and was there to guide and reassure me when I really needed it. We used so many of her techniques and suggestions throughout labor, and having her there gave us so much reassurance. What has been HUGE is that she’s also been there every step of the way postpartum. All those silly little questions at all hours of the day/night, she’s been there for. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better doula to support us through bringing our baby girl into the world and everything that comes after!

Jenna was and has been a dream come true with the birth of our first son. Not even waiting to be discharged from the hospital to write this one. Easiest 5 star review I've ever given to any business. A little of my background. This was my second pregnancy (I had preeclampsia in my first) delivering at a new hospital that ended up becoming an unplanned c-section. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have had Jenna in the OR with me and my husband as our son was being born. It didn't even occur to me that once my son would be born, my husband would leave with him, which would have meant I would have been alone for major abdominal surgery while I was awake had Jenna not been there. And because it was unplanned, some of our birth preferences couldn't be met. So she was there to advocate for us when we either didn't know we could, or we forgot in all of the melee, what the actual plan was. No matter what, if you are having a baby hire Jenna as your Doula. You will not regret it. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and so so so supportive as we started this (sometimes scary) new journey as a family of 4.

Having Jenna at our son’s birth was even more special and helpful than I imagined. Her presence was so comforting and grounding, for both me and my husband. She made the room more comfortable and cozy with soft lighting and her calm, caring energy. Her knowledge of comfort methods helped me tremendously in labor. Jenna advocated for me with the medical team, and as a result, I had a very positive experience, despite complications that led us to a different path than I had imagined. The minute I met Jenna I knew she was the doula I wanted to hire. We immediately connected thanks to her easy going, non judgemental and friendly personality. I'm am so glad I found her! From pre-natal support to l&d to post partum Jenna was a stabile and reliable support. This was my second birth and I felt it went 1000x better then my first thanks to Jenna. She helped me labor at home for 12 hours before heading to the hospital at 5cm dilated. Once at the hospital she turned the room into a calming environment. I got an epidural and she moved my position every 30 mins, which made delivery a breeze. She kept me company, talked me through different decisions I needed to make, and overall kept me calm and cool during labor. She stayed 2 hours after delivery to ensure me and my baby were all healthy. Post partum she checked in consistently, she even pushed me to reach out to my doctor when I was having weird symptoms and it turned out my blood pressure spiked. I can't thank her enough for all the amazing care. I feel like she will now be a friend for life!
