About me
I’m a certified doula, childbirth educator & breastfeeding specialist. I am passionate about birth and experienced in helping families experience a glorious birth and journey into postpartum and parenthood. My support centers around evidence based education, informed consent and collaborative advocacy. I am also a doula of faith for those looking for faith-based support.

I offer birth support for all births (hospital, home birth, birthing center, medicated/unmedicated...etc.). Daytime and overnight postpartum support. Placenta encapsulation, childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes, virtual birth support and birth preparation classes for mom & dad in person, My free consultation allows us to discuss my services and experience in detail & answer all of your questions to see if we would be a great match.

Frequently asked questions
What does your postpartum support looks like?
I come in, check in and with parents to see how they and baby are doing. We go over my task for the shift and I then take the care of baby for the shift. I take time to hear parents out about their routines, concerns, questions and also debrief with them their birthing experience. I offer feeding support whether formula or breastfeeding. At the end of my shift, I check in with parents with a detailed log of baby’s care and how parents are feeling then I leave.
Once I go into labor, when do you join me?
I typically meet you at the hospital once you are in active labor and stay in close contact until then. I can also meet you at home and help you labor at home, depends on what we decide.
How do you deal with partners/husbands if they are present?
I 100% involve them in the entire process. During our prenatal meetings, I teach them how to support and during labor I also guide them on how to best support and also advocate for mom.
Do you work with families using benefits such as Carrot?
Yes. None of my clients so far I’ve had issues with reimbursement or using their allocated funds.
Do you have experience with baby sleep?
Yes, somewhat. Though I am not a sleep consultant I have helped many families navigate their baby’s sleep & setting up routines that work for them.
How do you advocate for your clients?
I have a collaborative approach where I mediate communication between patient and medical professionals that allows the patient to have agency over their care. I navigate the dialogue in a way that encourages doctors and nurses to have clear communication with patients where benefits, risks and alternative options are discussed and the patient can make informed decisions.
What types of births do you have experience with?
I have supported only hospital births with a variety of cases: early medical inductions, elective inductions, medicated and unmedicated births, families with NICU babies, planned and unplanned cesareans.
