Hi, I'm Sarah and I founded Forever Doula because I think babies are the absolute best (and so are their moms and dads). I am a DONA trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, a Birth and Bereavement Doula through StillBirthDay, a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, a Spinning Babies Certified Parent Educator, and a Certified Lactation Counselor. Before becoming a doula I worked with children in education, specializing in care for kids with special needs. I absolutely loved my job. This sparked an initial passion in me for children and their care. In 2014 my husband and I found out we were going to have our first baby. So exciting (but also a little scary)! I quickly realized how significant care for mom and baby is during pregnancy, birth and newborn stages. Oftentimes we emphasize the care a baby needs. It’s natural - they’re so small and rely on us for everything. But while their care is so important, we can inadvertently disregard the care moms need as well. It was through my own experience I learned that great care for baby begins with great care for mom. It was that truth that turned my initial spark of passion into a life changing journey. I was hooked. Being a doula has been the most rewarding and satisfying job of my life (besides being a mommy). My research, training, and extended experience has shaped the way I approach doula care: I support informed birth choices and empowerment. In simple terms, I believe all moms should have the support to birth and care for their baby, their way. No pressure and no judgment. I’ve worked with moms who know exactly what they want and need my help to achieve that. I love that! I’m on your team all the way. Other times moms need help figuring out what they want, and I love that too! It allows me to offer them all of the information, research and education I have stored up so they can have that “Aha!” moment when they finally discover which approach resonates with them. It’s such a beautiful thing! I truly believe great care is hinged on great education. I’m extremely passionate about educating mothers to learn what changes are occurring in her body, details about labor and delivery, as well as providing comfort measures to ease her body into birthing her baby. It’s my goal to support you by offering evidence-based information, teaching you how to self advocate for your needs, and being physically present at the delivery, as well as providing continued postpartum care. At Forever Doula, we understand that no two births are the same (I myself had three very different births) and every postpartum journey holds its own unique challenges. We’re here to help you through it all, providing you not only the care you desire, but the premium support you and your baby deserve. Together, we’re going to make your dream a reality.

We had an exceptional experience with Forever Doula and highly recommend their postpartum doula services as well as the pre-birth class. Our doula, Gabrielle, supported our family during both day and night shifts in the first month after bringing our newborn home to the southeastern Monmouth county area. The overnight support was truly invaluable. Being able to get a full night's sleep occasionally made such a difference during those early weeks, and knowing our baby was in caring, capable hands gave us tremendous peace of mind. Beyond newborn care, Gabrielle was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive as we worked through breastfeeding and latching challenges. Her guidance, encouragement, and calm presence helped build our confidence as new parents. We also participated in a pre-birth class with Sarah, which was extremely helpful as we prepared for our baby's arrival. With so much information available online and through social media, it can be overwhelming to know what advice to trust. Sarah helped us make sense of everything we were seeing and hearing, provided practical guidance, and patiently answered all of our questions. While we didn't feel that a birth doula was the right fit for us, the pre-birth class was the perfect compromise. We benefited from an experienced doula's expertise in the comfort of our own home, which gave us the confidence and knowledge we needed heading into delivery and those first weeks of parenthood. Throughout our time with Forever Doula, both Gabrielle and Sarah were professional, reliable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in our family's well-being. We were fortunate to have access to these services through my employer's benefits, but after experiencing the value firsthand, I would absolutely recommend Forever Doula even if I were paying entirely out of pocket. The support we received was worth every penny and made a meaningful difference during one of the most important transitions in our lives.

I cannot recommend Rachel enough. As a first-time mom, I was feeling overwhelmed to start breastfeeding, but meeting with Rachel before baby arrived made all the difference. She provided invaluable information and guidance that made me feel much more prepared and confident. From the start of my career as a Physician Assistant, I was drawn to pediatrics and the mother-baby dyad. My PA journey kicked off on the pediatric ward at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY, where I was completely captivated by caring for children and families. Then, life brought me to Central NJ, where I had the opportunity to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, caring for some of the tiniest, most vulnerable patients. I became a board-certified lactation consultant and was thrilled to offer lactation consultations and make a real difference for new parents and babies. Bringing together my neonatal and pediatric medical experience with lactation and breastfeeding medicine has been incredibly rewarding! I’m proud to be board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. But I didn’t stop there—I went on to get a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland, and I’ve continued to push myself to learn and grow in every way possible. I’ve trained in advanced bodywork techniques, including craniosacral therapy (CST) through the Upledger Institute and the Barnes Myofascial Release method. I’ve also attended the Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad course three times! Continuing education is a constant for me because I believe there’s always more to learn when it comes to helping families. I have 2 locations, in Edison and Brick, NJ and have focused on creating a collaborative practice which includes other specialists as well. Whether it’s kayaking, biking, or tending to our organic and medicinal garden, my family and I like finding new ways to stay active and connected with nature.

Hi I'm Diane Nader Giresi, I'm a DONA Trained and Certified Postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Trainer. My goal as a postpartum doula, is to provide my clients with individualized non-judgmental support that encourages them on their journey as new parents. Continuing education is always at the forefront, so I can provide the most up to date evidence based research and resources. I attend many workshops and conferences on the ever changing protocols on tongue-tie and oral restrictions. I provide extensive lactation support if choosing to breastfeed. I help develop strategies for success, back to work plans, weaning, pumping, and flange fitting. In addition to newborn care, understanding cues, and newborn sleep patterns. Support looks different for each family. I listen to your needs and together we form a plan that serves your new family unit.

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

First off I want to begin to say she is the most sweetest person I’ve ever met. Very professional very calm great listener and is not afraid to stand on 10 toes behind your wishes. She makes sure of what YOU want and is not afraid to verify what you want over and over right up until you go give birth and even after. She makes sure that your comfortable and that your wishes are heard and one thing I can never get out of my head is her asking me “is this what YOU want” or “ Are you ok with this” “are we on the same birth plan?” even in the hospital in-front of any doctor or nurse she was not afraid to make sure about what IIIII WANTED. She wasn’t afraid to ask questions nor was she afraid to advocate for me. She literally makes it all about you and your birth and your baby. She is available to you at any time if you need her do not be afraid to reach out. She gives great advice she has great techniques that will prepare you for birth during birth and after. This girl deserves an award like I really loved her services she even had a backup plan (still accommodating to your wants and needs) just incase if by any reason she wasn’t available for me when I went into labor. She loves what she does and she’s just a doll. I want her to be my doula again for my next pregnancy 💜

I can’t recommend Melanie enough as a lactation consultant. During my postpartum period, when I felt at my most vulnerable, Melanie helped me regain confidence in myself and my abilities as a mother. She shared her knowledge in a way that was easy to understand, but what stood out to me most was the kindness, compassion, and care she showed me when I didn’t even realize how much I needed it. Melanie took the time to truly listen to every single one of my concerns. She never made me feel judged, dismissed, or as though my worries were insignificant, no matter how small they might have seemed. Looking back, I realize how important it was to have someone who made me feel heard, understood, and supported during such a vulnerable time in my life. It’s clear that Melanie is not only incredibly knowledgeable in her field, but also genuinely passionate about what she does and deeply cares about the families she works with. Her support made a meaningful difference in my postpartum journey, and I’m so grateful to have had her guidance. If you’re looking for breastfeeding support from someone who combines expertise with genuine compassion, I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie. You couldn’t be in better hands.
