Hi, I’m Catherine — a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula and mom who believes every mother deserves to feel supported, heard, and cared for. My approach is rooted in “mothering the mother,” providing a safe, judgment-free space where families can feel confident and informed throughout their journey. As a birth doula, I support families through unmedicated births, inductions, epidurals, VBACs, and cesarean births. I use comfort measures like movement, positioning, breathing, counter-pressure, massage, and hands-on support while helping families understand their options and advocate for themselves. As a postpartum doula, I focus on caring for the whole family while making sure mom is cared for, too. From newborn care and feeding support to postpartum recovery, nutritious meals, and helping you get the rest you need, my goal is simple: to help you feel supported, confident, and cared for during one of the biggest transitions of your life.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Wis!!! Though she wasn’t physically in my delivery room, she played a big part in my birth. She provided so much information that was not only interesting but very useful. She helped me a lot when it came to advocating for myself as a high risk mom. I had a few situations where I felt uncomfortable about the circumstances around how my child was born but Wis prayed with me and provided valuable resources so that I could make informed decisions about my care. Choosing Wis to be your doula would never be a mistake. The love, the care, and dedication she puts into this is beyond a job. I’ve gotten to know and seen her on a personal level and the fact that she’s back in school so she can continue to learn how to support women and families through such a precious time attest to her passion and professionalism around birth work.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cheryl and the support she provided throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. From the beginning, Cheryl and I connected so well, and I immediately felt comfortable with her. As a first-time mom, that was so important to me. I was in a new city, delivering at a new hospital, and trusting a care team I had never worked with before, so having someone in my corner who I genuinely trusted made such a difference. One of the things I appreciated most was how much Cheryl prepared both my husband and I before I went into labor. She helped us create our birth plan, taught us different exercises, positions, and circuits I could use to prepare for labor and during labor, and most importantly, taught us how to advocate for ourselves and communicate what I wanted during my birth experience. That preparation gave us so much more confidence going into the hospital. Her support continued immediately after I gave birth. Cheryl helped me navigate those first moments of postpartum, including helping my baby latch for breastfeeding, which meant so much to me as a first-time mom. She made sure I felt supported, comfortable, and cared for during such a new and vulnerable moment. What makes Cheryl even more amazing is that her care didn’t stop after I gave birth. Five months postpartum, she STILL checks in, not only to see how I’m doing and adjusting to motherhood, but also to ask about my baby and my husband. She remembers our names, asks about each of us, and genuinely cares about how we’re doing as a family. She has also made it a priority to hear and understand my experience as a first-time Black mother, which has been incredibly meaningful to me. Her support has never felt like simply providing a service and moving on once the baby was born. The connection we built is genuine, and it’s clear that Cheryl truly cares about the mother, the baby, and the family as a whole. I’m so grateful that Cheryl was part of such an important chapter in our lives. She made me feel heard, prepared, cared for, and supported during one of the biggest transitions of my life. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable and compassionate but also someone who will genuinely get to know you and care about your family beyond your delivery day, I HIGHLY recommend Cheryl. ❤️

Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am an experienced childcare professional with over five years of caregiving experience for children of all ages, including more than three years working professionally as a nanny in NYC/NJ. My recent work has focused primarily on infants, supporting families through feeding, sleep challenges, developmental milestones, and the day to day transitions that come with a growing baby. I am currently completing my training as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and Postpartum Doula (PPD), and I am passionate about supporting families during the early weeks and months of parenthood. I believe every family deserves compassionate, reliable support during this significant life transition. Welcoming a new baby can be joyful, exciting, overwhelming, and exhausting all at once, and my goal is to help parents feel informed, confident, and cared for as they navigate this new chapter. My caregiving philosophy is heavily rooted in kindness, respect, and collaboration. I strive to meet families where they are, support their individual parenting goals, and create a calm, nurturing environment where both parents and babies can thrive. In addition to my nanny experience, I have worked as an assistant teacher in a Level 3 ASD elementary SpEd classroom, and am certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid. I look forward to supporting families with warmth, professionalism, and evidence-based care during some of life’s most precious moments. I am happy to provide references of former families with infants I have worked with.

A Truly Exceptional Doula Experience Hiring Aisolen Marcial was hands down one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy journey. From the moment we met her, we felt instantly at ease. Her calm presence, deep knowledge, and genuine care created a sense of trust and safety that carried us through every step of labor and delivery. Throughout our prenatal visits, Aisolen took the time to really understand our hopes, fears, and birth preferences. She offered evidence-based information without pressure and helped us feel empowered to make informed decisions. She was always just a text away when we had questions or needed support. During labor, Aisolen was our anchor. She brought such a peaceful energy into the room, offering physical comfort, emotional reassurance, and quiet encouragement exactly when we needed it. Whether it was helping with breathing techniques, massage, or just being a supportive presence, she anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. Even after the birth, she continued to check in with us and made sure we were adjusting well. Her postpartum support was incredibly helpful, and we felt like she truly cared about our wellbeing as a family. We can’t imagine going through this experience without her. If you're looking for a doula who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to supporting families, we wholeheartedly recommend Aisolen Marcial.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our baby nurse, Alecia. She came at a moment’s notice when I unexpectedly delivered five days early and showed up at our apartment immediately after we arrived home from the hospital. As a first-time mom recovering from a C-section, her support was truly invaluable. Alecia’s calm, warm demeanor is unmatched. She is quite literally a baby whisperer. Within just 72 hours, she helped get our baby boy into a comfortable routine with eating and sleeping, and he feels completely at ease with her. She works around the clock, is incredibly attentive, and provides thoughtful, reassuring guidance on every aspect of newborn care. My husband and I genuinely would not have been able to do this without her. Alecia even accompanied us to our first pediatrician visit, offering support and confidence during what can be such an overwhelming milestone. She has been a bright, steady ray of light during an intense and emotional time, learning how to care for a newborn while I was also recovering from surgery. We wholeheartedly recommend Alecia to anyone looking for an exceptional baby nurse. You will not be disappointed!

Lisa was exactly what we needed when our baby was born. As first time parents, we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. We were overwhelmed and tired and needed a lot of guidance. Lisa not only took unbelievable care of our baby, but she took care of us too. Focussing on my post-partum needs and making sure that I was doing and healing well, while simultaneously caring for our baby with the highest quality of care, was exactly what Lisa did for the 7 weeks she spent with us. She taught us as she did, making sure that when it was time to say goodbye, my husband and I felt confident and well-grounded with a solid foundation and a deep understanding of how to care for our baby. She was also extremely easy to have around which made the newborn trenches a little more enjoyable. We love Lisa, she'll be back for the next one!

We had a wonderful experience working with Breana for six weeks after our baby arrived. As first-time parents, we especially appreciated her knowledge and guidance on everything from formula preparation and feeding to understanding our baby's cues and everyday newborn care. She was reliable, communicative, and always punctual, and we felt completely comfortable trusting her with our baby. Her support brought a sense of calm to what could have otherwise been an overwhelming first few weeks. We're incredibly grateful for her care and couldn't have imagined navigating those early weeks without her!

There is no sweeter, more genuine, warm, reliable doula than Angela Zago. Coming from someone like me who is very type A and typically always having a hard time trusting others, Angela Zago is everything ANYONE could ever want. Angela is an angel sent from above! I trusted her with my life and she’ll be the first I call when I find out I’m pregnant again. Angela is now family to us and we’re so blessed to have been connected with a woman like her.

When my son was just 3 months old, getting him to sleep in his crib was a real challenge. He absolutely hated his crib, and getting him settled for the night was becoming exhausting for our entire family. That changed when we started working with Thandia. She took the time to understand my baby's sleep patterns and introduced gentle nightly adjustments that made such a remarkable difference. In less than two weeks, we began seeing incredible progress! My son, who once resisted his crib so much, now settles down much more easily and sleeps comfortably in it. He is now sleeping approximately 6–7 hours throughout the night, and for the first time, our family can finally get some much-needed rest! I am truly grateful for Thandia's patience, knowledge, and dedication. What impressed me most was how she approached my baby's individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. If you're a parent struggling with your little one's sleep routine, I would highly recommend Thandia. She has made such a positive difference for our family, and we couldn't be happier with the progress! Thank you, Thandia!

We were so lucky to have Sherene care for our baby. She was with us for 3 months and made such a huge difference. She is incredibly knowledgeable with newborns — she gently trained him to eat and sleep on a schedule. She is calm, patient, loving, and very professional. What I appreciated most was how unfazed she was by our busy household. She stayed focused on the baby and kept everything peaceful. Our baby was happy, well cared for, and thriving under her care.
