I offer compassionate, luxury-style support for families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and pregnancy loss. My services include birth and postpartum doula support, overnight newborn care, breastfeeding guidance, sleep support, emotional wellness, and personalized education to help families feel confident, nurtured, and fully supported throughout every stage of their journey.
I cannot thank Cheryl enough for being there as my doula after the birth of my son. I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it through those first few weeks of new motherhood without her steady support, gentle guidance, and the opportunity she gave me to rest and get some much-needed sleep. Most people don’t realize just how crucial it is to have strong, reliable support during the early days of bringing a newborn home. Cheryl helped me transition into motherhood with grace and ease. Her presence made all the difference. Words could never fully express the depth of my gratitude. Cheryl is absolutely on the right path in offering these vital services to new mothers like myself. She is a gift from heaven.

Working beside Cheryl was a dream come true after working so hard to achieve my family. Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community makes the journey tough yet Cheryl's knowledge and care never went unnoticed. She's professional, warm, intelligent and inclusive to all of those she's supporting. For my first child I dreamed of having a doula that supported my family's birth needs and I wouldn't change the experience for a thing. Cheryl has become extremely important for us during this sensitive and exciting time.

I met Cheryl Singletary in 2008 when I was pregnant with my first child. At the time, she worked at a local daycare and I was looking for support after the birth. We spent a few months getting to know each other, and when it was time for me to deliver, Cheryl stepped in like no one else could have. After my son was born, I faced unexpected heart complications that led to heart failure. I had to remain in the hospital for two weeks, while my newborn was discharged. Cheryl, only 22 at the time, stayed in my home and cared for my newborn around the clock. She even traveled back and forth to the hospital to bring my breast milk to my baby. Her selflessness, dedication, and compassion during that time changed my life forever. My family is indebted to her in a way words can barely express. Now, 16 years later, Cheryl and my oldest son are as close as ever. She also supported me through the birth of my second child, offering comfort, massaging my hands, feet, and back, and guiding me with the calm strength of someone born to do this work. That son is now 14, and we often say: Cheryl has always been a doula — long before she even knew what one was. She’s not just a friend of the family. She is family. Her care, love, and natural ability to show up in people’s most vulnerable moments is a rare and beautiful gift that I would forever cherish.

I had the incredible struck of luck meeting Doula Cheryl the very day I delivered my baby at Hoboken Hospital. We had never met before, but from the moment she entered the room, she felt like an angel sent straight to me. I was soooo overwhelmed—my emotions were all over the place, my blood pressure kept spiking, and I was experiencing intense anxiety, especially due to interactions with an on-call OB. Cheryl immediately grounded me. She had this calm, even-toned, and gentle way of speaking that soothed my nerves and helped me breathe again. Even though she was there as part of her certification observations, she showed up with the confidence, care, and intuition of someone who was clearly born to be a doula. When my baby was born in distress, Cheryl was right there—hands-on, attentive, and fully present, making sure both my baby and I were okay. She didn’t just support me; she also made sure my husband felt seen and included every step of the way. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner in my pregnancy. Her presence was truly a gift, and I can’t say enough about how impactful she was in such a short amount of time. I would recommend Cheryl to any family a million times over. She is truly one of a kind.
