Kristina Victoratos Gardenier CD, DONA

Hi! I'm Kristina Victoratos Gardenier. After years of navigating my own fertility struggles, I felt a deep calling to shift my career from the corporate world—where I spent 12 years in AdTech—to a path that truly fulfills me. My experiences, both personal and professional, naturally led me to the health and wellness space, where I can combine my background in sales, my firsthand medical experiences, and my passion for caregiving into meaningful work. Caring for sick family members has profoundly shaped my approach to support and advocacy, making my transition into birth work feel seamless. As a certified fertility coach and a DONA certified birth doula, I am honored to guide families from preconception through birth, providing compassionate, evidence-based care every step of the way. I take a holistic, client-centered approach, ensuring you feel empowered, informed, and confident throughout your journey. Whether you’re trying to conceive or preparing for labor, I am here to support you with personalized coaching, education, and advocacy within the medical system. I am trained in a variety of comfort measures, including the use of birth balls, peanut balls, laboring positions, and natural techniques for induction, stress management, and pain relief. If you have a partner, I will also help ensure they are actively involved in your birth experience. Giving birth is a life-changing moment—one you will carry with you forever. My goal is to create a supportive, uplifting experience where you feel heard, respected, and empowered every step of the way.

Britt Sando

I’ve been working with childbearing families in northern New Jersey for many years, and I strive to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve gained to each of my clients. My great joy is helping people find their own path, and trying to make it more comfy along the way.

Recent review

When I contacted Britt, I was 12 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I really desired to have a relationship with my doctor, but since most OBGYN practices have you seeing multiple professionals, I was not getting that. I was desiring to go the natural birth-in-a-hospital route and hearing other friends’ stories, a doula sounded like the perfect fit. Britt was recommended by one of my friends who had Britt attend and help at all three of her babies’ births. Britt offered us a birthing course in our home, she gave us literature and resources to use an practice as we anticipated our first birth, she was ALWAYS responsive when texted or called, was informed about alternatives such as the Fresh Test, and she was a great help and encouragement to my husband pre-birth, during labor and delivery and after birth. Britt knew what I wanted - when we got to the hospital and we were almost put into a room without a tub, she was there ADVOCATING for us (since a tub room was available and it was my hope to labor in one). Britt is levelheaded, intelligent, witty, and has an excellent sense of humor. She tells it like it is. She is loving and compassionate - truly a gift from heaven. She checked in on me all throughout my pregnancy and after my baby was born. As she put it to me, “Once your doula, always your doula.” To put it simply, hire Britt as your doula. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello. My name is Harmony and I am a Certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator, Certified Lacatation Counselor and Birth Doula. I am a former elementary teacher and the love of teaching continues in my evidence based childbirth classes. After having my 3rd child, my love of supporting birthing people blossomed. With continuous support, education and tools to help you advocate for yourself, you will have the birth you want. I service South Jersey, Parts of PA and Delaware. My office is located upstairs at Sicklerville Chiropractic.

Harmony's assistance was invaluable to us during my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post partum. She helped me to understand a lot of the processes both that my body would go through and that the medical system would put me through, which was incredibly helpful in making more informed decisions and planning for what would be an unorthodox birth. Harmony helped me flesh out my birth plan more completely, which helped me to feel more in control when the time came to make medical decisions. Additionally, she was there through a significant portion of my LONG labor and assisted not only with that process, but also with providing support to my teenage daughter, who was present for labor and who experienced some anxiety because of it. She video called with me in the hospital during my recovery to help me navigate caring for my babies and preparing for breastfeeding despite their need for NICU treatment. Harmony went above and beyond to connect me with someone who could help me with the challenges of breastfeeding twins when I struggled post-partum. We truly cannot imagine what this process would've looked like without her and would (and already have!) recommended her highly to friends and family!

Angela Zago Popular: among the most-viewed doulas in New Jersey, last 60 days

Responds within an hour Accepts insurance

Hi, I’m Angela — a mother, grandmother, and postpartum doula based in New Jersey, proudly serving families throughout the NJ/NY/CT tristate area. I am deeply passionate about supporting families during the tender and transformative postpartum period, offering calm, compassionate care when it’s needed most. I have supported over 40 families and their newborns, some through birth, and several others through overnight postpartum care and newborn support, helping parents rest, recover, and confidently adjust to their new reality. While I also provide daytime care, my primary focus is overnight support for families who need specialized, hands-on assistance during the early weeks after birth. My passion for postpartum care grew from my own journey into motherhood, when I realized how essential it is for birthing parents to feel nurtured, supported, and truly seen after birth. What began as caring for family and friends naturally evolved into my calling as a postpartum doula. Later on, I expanded my work to support expectant mothers throughout pregnancy and birth, offering compassionate physical and emotional care. In addition to my doula work, I bring over 15 years of experience caring for children and teenagers, along with nearly two decades of volunteer service supporting parents, children, and teens in my community. I approach every family with warmth, respect, and a wholehearted commitment to helping you feel confident, supported, and cared for during this beautiful new chapter.

I'm passionate about helping women have the birthing experience they desire and hope for. Planning, preparing and practicing is where it starts. I always invest so much into my clients that in the end, they become lifelong friends.

When I found out I was pregnant, the thought of having a doula never crossed my mind. It seemed a little bougie for me, but when my doctor left the practice, I started to think about it. It was the best decision I made. At our first meeting, we went over my birth plan. Julie gave me things to work on at home, but she also came back another time to make sure I knew how to do those exercises. She was always checking in, and she always answered right away when I had questions throughout my pregnancy. When I (finally) went into labor, I was texting Julie in the middle of the night while I left my husband sleep. She came over later in the morning and I labored at home as long as I could. Julie had me doing all kinds on different movements and exercises to naturally progress labor because my plan was to go without an epidural (spoiler:I did not make it ha). My labor at the hospital was longer than I anticipated, and Julie never left my side. When I caved and got the epidural, she continued to help me with body positioning to try to progress labor without drugs. She spent 2 nights in the hospital with us. I finally delivered a baby girl and it was a beautiful moment. But just when Julie probably thought she was home free to go home to her bed my placenta would not deliver. I was rushed to the OR and my husband was left with our baby, terrified and confused. Julie did not leave his side. When I returned to recovery but clearly still having issues, Julie called my parents for my husband and did not leave his side until she met my parents and they basically forced her to go home and get some rest. I was in the hospital for 10 days and Julie was in constant communication with my husband to check on me. When I came home, she was one of the first people I wanted to see. If you're on the fence about hiring Julie, stop thinking and just do it. Not only will Julie make you feel more prepared and relaxed going into labor, but you will come out feeling like she's family.

She became interested in pregnancy and the birth process after having her first child in 2010. Shortly after, Ines started working for the childbirth education department at a prestigious Bergen County hospital, where she gained a great deal of knowledge about maternity services. After the birth of her second child in 2014, she decided to become a childbirth educator. Through her two birth experiences, she realized that the power of knowledge can have a positive impact on birth outcomes. While working as a childbirth educator at the hospital, Ines saw the necessity of giving additional support to her clients. She has trained with DONA International to obtain all the required skills to assist mothers during the birth process. Ines is dedicated to expanding her knowledge by attending maternal and child health conferences, seminars, and networking with health professionals in the community. I have been attending births since 1996, first as a doula and childbirth educator and since 2008 as a licensed midwife in NJ and 2010 in NY. I have been in private practice and partnerships with wonderful midwives and have mentored many students through the process of becoming a midwife in the apprenticeship model. I believe birth is sacred, and that the sovereignty of the birthing person must be kept in mind throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Keeping reproductive justice at the forefront of the work midwives do is critical to reducing maternal and infant mortality in the United States. I believe that midwives have a responsibility to that work and are the answer to the maternal mortality crisis we are facing. I have had multiple leadership roles at both state and national levels and continues to volunteer helping to move midwifery forward in both NJ and NY with the goal of recreating systems so that birthing people can have access to the equitable and culturally congruent care they deserve. I am the mother to five amazing adult children and Grammy to four precious grandchildren. The birth of a child is an amazing mixture of physical happenings, emotional ups and downs and spiritual and personal growth. It brings with it the realization that we are powerful and powerless at the same time; that we can be in control while surrendering; and that nothing else at that moment, hour, day or even days matters, only the intensity of the work we have to do to bring this precious life from us, to us. It is a true blessing and an honor to be present, and I feel privileged to be a part of the journey.
