When I found out I was expecting, I felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. I knew I wanted support during my pregnancy and birth, but I wasn’t entirely sure what that would look like. After some research, I decided to hire a doula, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. From our first meeting, my doula was a calming presence. She not only helped me prepare emotionally for labor, but also educated me about my options, answered all my questions, and helped me feel more confident in my choices. During labor, she was a steady source of support, guiding me in each choice. Having a doula made my birth experience so much easier and lovely. I felt respected. Thank you for everything ??

I had my baby in April and I decided in late November to look for a doula. We wanted someone that spoke Portuguese (we are from Brasil) so we could communicate better. I interviewed 3 doulas but had a match with Nubia. From the beginning, on a phone call, she was very caring and there for you. She explained to us the whole birthing process and we felt more prepared than just trusting the doctors. She came with a lot of information and some I would have never known before giving birth. We went to the hospital and she spoke up when the doctor wanted to do an exam with very little interval from the other. And I'm glad because I wasn't functioning and having someone there to speak aloud was very important. I highly recommend Nubia!

I was so lucky to have Nubia as my doula!
