Baby is getting too much air on breast and bottle.

My daughter is an ex-30+5 week preemie, born 4/29. I have done multiple weighted feeds with her pediatrician, who is also an IBCLC, and her milk transfer/weight gain has been reassuring. However, I feel her latch is shallow and she frequently swallows air while nursing. She occasionally pops off during a strong letdown, sometimes cries at the breast, and I can sometimes hear her gulping air into her belly while feeding. We are also currently navigating a potential milk protein allergy. I have been dairy-free since August 5 due to blood and mucus in her stools. I’m looking for an in-home lactation visit to assess her latch, suck/swallow/breathe coordination, milk flow/letdown, and swallowing of air, and to help make breastfeeding more comfortable and efficient for both of us. I’m hoping to use insurance coverage through Aetna.

5 day old shallow latch. My supply won't meet his demand. He's also so sleepy during feeds so they take forever. Trying to figure out how to increase my supply while addressing these issues. I'd prefer in person. My budget is 200 out of pocket if this is not covered

My main question is whether his decreasing formula requirement reflects improved milk transfer from me. He had a 14–15% initial weight loss, but since supplementation began he has gained from 7 lb 4 oz on Aug 24 → 7 lb 10 oz Aug 27 → about 8 lb 1 oz on my home scale Sept 1. He is now frequently refusing or taking very small top-ups after breastfeeding. I want a weighted feed and a safe plan for tapering supplementation while protecting his weight gain and increasing my supply.

Hi! I'm a first time mom with Cigna, looking for a doula to help support me as a woman with several risk factors, like lichen sclerosis, advanced maternal age, and anxiety. I'd like a doula for prenatal consultation(s), labor support, and breastfeeding education/assistance. We'd like to cap out out-of-pocket budget around $1,000, if possible. We live in Jersey City and would like some local, with strong certifications and experience.

I'm looking for a doula to support me throughout my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, during labor and delivery, and in the postpartum period. I believe I need someone to look at my 7 week olds latch when breastfeeding. I have been using a nipple shield since she was born since that was what the LC at the hospital suggested for flat nipples. She transfers well and is gaining weight but I still feel some pain when she latches and experience cracked nipples which is even more painful.

Hi! I was producing plenty to feed my baby at first, now only 2 weeks in I’m producing less than half of what he needs. I’m pumping or breastfeeding every 3 hours, drinking over 80oz of water, have a high protein diet, and am taking 1 packet of liquid iv every day. I don’t understand why my supply isn’t there anymore. Help!!

Two week old who is not latching, and i am not getting enough supply. I pump every 3 hours and am getting only 30 ml every session. Would love if someone could help my baby latch and also help increase supply through a visit at home
