I’m hoping to find a night nurse/nanny that takes Cigna insurance. My son is currently getting up about every 3-4 hours in the night. I’m EBF but I’d like to maybe have one of his night feeds be a bottle.

A night nurse from Oct 4 until the new year. Preferably one that is English and Mandarin speaking (we are an English/Spanish/Mandarin speaking household). We are a working professional Jersey City couple, and are first-time parents. Our journey to parenthood was challenging and required a community of help and support — Margaret is a cancer patient and survivor and our daughter was born via surrogate in August. Margaret is on parental leave through December. We bottle feed with milk from the surrogate, and supplemented with formula when that was necessary (we keep formula on us though—we’ve been through a lot and are prepared for many scenarios). Sleep training, especially through the 4 month regression is important to us, as mentioned, bc we work during the day. We would like the nurse to help with baby laundry (if we haven’t already done it) and making sure there are enough bottles sterilized (we have a sterilizer to make this easy) for us to use during the day once it’s our turn to take over/a day nanny’s turn to take over. We also require the person to be vaccinated or be willing to be vaccinated (Covid, flu, measles, tdap, chicken pox). Our estimated budget is $40/hr.

I'm looking for a doula to support me throughout my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, during labor and delivery, and in the postpartum period. I'm hoping to find someone who has experience supporting births at Englewood Hospital, has extensive experience as a doula, and is supportive of a medicated birth. It's important to me to work with someone who will respect my birth preferences while providing guidance, advocacy, and evidence-based support throughout the process.

We're looking for someone with strong newborn experience, especially with feeding and reflux, who will be very nurturing and attentive, holding and comforting her, giving her lot of love, and helping her settle her to sleep. Ideally, 1-2 night initially, increasing to 2-3 nights per week in September and October. From November on, our needs may increase to a more full-time schedule, but were still figuring it out.
