Hi, I’m Monica! I’m a certified postpartum doula through Cornerstone Doula & Birthwork Trainings and the heart behind The Sacred Season Doula. I believe every postpartum journey deserves tenderness, flexibility, and genuine care. As a mom of four, I know how different each experience can feel — sometimes joyful, sometimes disorienting, sometimes both at once. My intention is to meet you exactly where you are and offer support that feels calming, respectful, and deeply human. I specialize in overnight postpartum support, creating a peaceful, steady presence while you rest and recover. Whether it’s newborn care, feeding support, emotional grounding, or simply giving you the gift of uninterrupted sleep, my goal is to make your nights softer and your days lighter. The postpartum period is a sacred season, and no one is meant to move through it alone. I’m here to help you feel held, supported, and cared for as you settle into life with your baby.

At The Sacred Season Doula, I provide overnight postpartum support designed to give parents rest, reassurance, and confidence during the early weeks of newborn life. My services include attentive newborn care such as feeding, diapering, safe sleep practices, and guidance on newborn routines, lactation and feeding education. I also help with household tasks like washing and folding laundry, dishes, wiping counters, light tidying, and light meal prep, so parents can focus on rest, bonding, and emotional recovery. In addition, I offer emotional support and guidance for parents, along with postpartum education, resources, and assistance tailored to each family’s needs. I can help with errands, attend appointments, and create space for self-care and recovery. My goal is to meet families where they are, offering compassionate, flexible, and personalized care so this sacred season feels supported, peaceful, and a little lighter.
We had the pleasure of having Monica as our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. Monica is sweet, caring, and hard working. She supported my feeding goals, whether I wanted her to bring me baby to breastfeed or wanted her to offer baby a bottle so I could get some extra sleep. In addition to helping to care for our newborn, she was a tremendous help with cleaning bottles and pump parts and folding laundry - all the tasks that helped us focus on baby and get some extra sleep. Monica was a big help to us during the postpartum period and we gladly recommend her!
