Iris Wilson

Iris was a great help with our kids this summer! She’s very hands on with whatever activity they’re getting into and has built such a great connection with them. They are always so excited on days she comes in and this is especially true when she brings her daughter—who, as far as they’re concerned, is just there for a playdate! Having the extra hand made such a difference over the 3 months as made the move from our old home to our new one! We wish her the best of luck!

Iris was great! She took care of my 11 month old son for a last minute need and it was such a relief. She brought her daughter who is close in age and the two of them had a blast hanging out all day. Iris has worked for our family since January, providing exceptional care for our infant twins (then 4 months old). She has been incredibly attentive to their needs, consistently engaging them in play, reading, singing, and providing a nurturing environment - all without relying on screens. When she arrives in the morning, both babies light up and squeak with joy. She has a calming demeanor, which is particularly valuable in the often chaotic environment of caring for multiples. Her ability to maintain a soothing atmosphere was a significant asset to our household, especially during the early infant months. As a working professional, Iris has exceptional communication skills, with timely and thorough responses that continued throughout her time with us. Given advance notice, Iris would accommodate schedule changes to the best of her ability, which made a HUGE difference in our ability to manage busy schedules. She has also offered to help find care coverage during her PTO days. The only reason we’re ending our time together is that *two* spots opened up at a local daycare at the same time - a rarity we’re not sure we’d get again if we deferred. We highly recommend Iris for her exceptional care, communication skills, and adaptability. Any family would be lucky to have her!

Iris helped our family for a 6 week period of time initially, then has helped since for random days as needed. She was easy to work with. My boys (6, 3, and 2) were so comfortable around her. Iris kept them on our schedule for naps and meals. She would send updates throughout the day. My boys would ask "Is Iris coming tomorrow?" because they enjoyed hanging out with her. She was prompt, reliable, and genuinely cared for my boys. I highly recommend!

Iris was our Nanny (May-Sept M-F 8:30-4:30) to our 6m old until he started daycare. She was extremely attentive to him, his safety and his needs. She was incredible helping him hit milestones (hit early!) She was constantly reading, singing and working on milestones. She suggested great toys and learning tools at the appropriate times. She was always on-time, never called out (read that again!) and was very communicative. We highly recommend her! Reliable, friendly and caring! Just the best!
