About Laura

Laura's passion for birth and family support began over a decade ago as a nanny of five children, before staying home with her own three boys. Currently, Laura is working with families to reduce fear and provide support during a major life event: Childbirth. As a mom herself, Laura has personally experienced a natural epidural-free delivery, a birth with epidural, and a cesarean birth. She specializes in VBAC support and emphasizes the importance of confidence and a feeling of security during the prenatal journey. Laura continues to support other moms and new families to navigate through the new experiences and challenges that pregnancy and parenthood may bring. Laura is the owner and founder of Princeton Doulas.

Basic Birth Package

The Basic Labor Doula Contract includes:
one prenatal visit
one postpartum debrief visit (limited to 2 hours)
unlimited prenatal text/phone support
12 contracted hours of face to face labor support

Enhanced Birth Doula Support

one prenatal visit
one postpartum debrief visit (limited to 2 hours)
unlimited prenatal text/phone support
12 contracted hours of face to face labor support
Childbirth Education 2 series course; 3.5 hours per session (7 hours total)
Infant Feeding Course 1 session; 2.5 hours
Newborn Care Course 1 session; 4 hours
Partner Prep 1 session; 2 hrs

Postpartum Doula Support

We provide education, care, and support for families and newborns once they are settled at home. This includes: breastfeeding/chestfeeding support, bottle feeding, sleep scheduling, childcare for older siblings, meal prep, laundry, light household chores, time for parents to take a long bath, shower, or a NAP!, and general parent/newborn troubleshooting with whatever challenges may arise. All postpartum doula packages are customizable to fit your family's unique needs.
