About me

Happy Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum Journey! My name is Bryanne Eyma and I'm a full spectrum space holder with a focus in birth and postpartum care and wellness. I approach this work from a traditional African-centered perspective and value system that centers support rooted in evidence-based information and wholistic wellness practices. How can you and your family be and feel supported throughout this journey & smoothly transition into parenthood? How would you like to honor your transformation? How would you like to welcome in new life? I receive my education by sitting at the feet of, and training with, midwives across may different pathways of midwifery (such as CPM, TM, CNM, and LM). These wisdom holders carry over 10+ years of experience, and I have had the honor to travel globally from Ghana, West Africa, the Caribbean's, South Florida, and Georgia, USA, to immerse myself in learning the most optimal prenatal and postpartum care, as well as serving families, from them. The commonality within pregnancy and postpartum care however has been the centering of the mother's mental, emotional, and physical heath, the well-being of baby, and the communal nature of birth and postpartum itself. When choosing me as part of your care team, you are also choosing a team of three: two trained birth and postpartum care providers (myself included) and a certified Chef- because it takes a village. We will always conduct an initial meet in-person, if local, or virtually, if remote to see if we are the best team for you, or offer referrals if needed. The intention is, "how can we best give you what you need"? With deep gratitude and joy, thank you to the families I have worked with, will work with, and/or will be connected to. May all families have a team of space holders who affirm, advocate for, and trust the natural intelligence of pregnancy, the body, and the mother-baby symbiosis. May all mothers step in motherhood feeling respected, nurtured, and empowered!

Service introduction

I offer holistic birth and postpartum support designed to nurture both the mother and baby through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of recovery. My services are built around three core offerings: birth doula support, daytime postpartum care, and overnight postpartum care. Together, these services create a continuous circle of care that supports families physically, emotionally, and nutritionally during one of life’s most important transitions. Birth Doula Support begins during pregnancy and continues through labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. This service includes prenatal visits to prepare for birth, support in creating a birth and postpartum plan, and guidance for both the birthing person and their partner. During labor, I provide continuous emotional and physical support using comfort techniques such as positioning, breathing guidance, massage, and relaxation methods. I also provide informational support to help families feel confident in their decisions throughout the birth experience. After birth, I continue support through early postpartum visits to assist with bonding, feeding guidance, and recovery. Daytime Postpartum Care focuses on helping the mother rest, heal, and adjust to life with a newborn. During daytime visits, I provide hands-on newborn care, prepare nourishing meals, and assist with light household tasks that support the wellbeing of the family. This care may also include postpartum healing practices such as herbal baths, vaginal steams, postpartum massage, and a closing ceremony to honor the mother’s recovery and transition into motherhood. The goal of daytime support is to create a calm, nurturing environment where the mother can focus on healing and bonding with her baby. Overnight Postpartum Care is designed to help families get the rest they need during the newborn stage. During overnight visits, I care for the baby while supporting feeding, diaper changes, and soothing throughout the night. This allows parents to get uninterrupted sleep while knowing their newborn is being attentively cared for. Light baby-related tasks such as bottle washing, pump part cleaning, and baby laundry may also be supported during overnight care. My services are provided through a small, dedicated team of three. This team includes two trained full spectrum birthworkers who support families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, as well as a chef who focuses on preparing nourishing meals designed to support postpartum recovery. Working as a team allows us to provide consistent, well-rounded care that prioritizes rest, healing, and nourishment for the entire family.
