About Yanesa

Hi! I'm Yanesa, a certified doula and founder of Doulas Through Life. We support families in Eastern PA. We offer primarily prenatal, postpartum, overnight support, birth, newborn care, emotional wellness, and more. I myself have been a doula for 5 years now currently work with an agency as well. Whether you are a first-time parent or growing your family, my goal is to help you feel confident and cared for. I like working with kids but as a doula I have grown to love working with the parents as well. Seeing a family grow and gain confidence is so precious and fulfilling. Both mom and dad (yes dads can have postpartum) need love to. And I try to emphasize that within my company. I majored in public health and have used that knowledge to better equip doula care to be more community based and well known and not some secret society haha. It doesn't always take a village but it truly does make all the difference having one by your side and we all deserve too. Doulas Through Life is a team-based practice, so we match each family with the doula who best fits their needs, availability, and type of support requested.

What to expect

Hi My name is Yanesa I am a birth and postpartumn doula. Along with a physical trainer. I offer daytime and night support for post-partumn care. Which typically range from 8+ hours for a overnight and 4+ hours for during the day. Along with on call care for birth and labor which as we know we can never tell how long that will be but I will be by your side the whole time regardless. I also offer as I said before training sessions such as yoga or light lifting which has been shown to help with labor go smoother and faster. Also just makes you feel better and become a healthier you before and after baby. Partners are always welcomed as well!
