Hello! My name is Becci. I am a Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, Sleep Consultant, and Baby Educator. I am located in Orange County but serve in LA as well. I also work virtually (classes, sleep education, etc.). I love working with families and helping them from the moment they become pregnant with education, through the 4-month sleep regression if needed for sleep training. I serve all families and enjoy being a part of this beautiful time in their lives. My goal is to bring calm to the chaos and help parents gain confidence with their baby. When I'm not busy helping educate, providing hands-on support, or making sleep plans, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 27 years and my children.

I fell in love with the opportunity to support families during one of the most extraordinary but exhausting times in their lives. Working as a newborn care specialist allows me the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families. I enjoy supporting new parents during a crucial life stage and find immense fulfillment in positively impacting the well-being of both the baby and the family through specialized care, including feeding, sleep routines, and overall development guidance during the early months of life. I have worked with many infants, including premature infants and twins. I have supported mothers with breastfeeding, from milk storage, supply issues, latching problems, and more. I have also helped families who want to use formulas by providing my knowledge and support with brands and looking out for milk intolerances and digestion issues. I am knowledgeable about colicky infants, tongue ties, reflexes, cradle caps, oxygen machines, and more. I love helping families set up their nurseries to help create a safe sleep environment conducive to fostering healthy sleep habits from night one. I am open to helping families in any way I can, including bottle washing, sanitizing, and keeping the infant areas clean and organized. I am comfortable working with hands-on parents and completely taking over with the infant, doing whatever I can to offer the most support. I have worked with many different families, and I love to be able to come in and uniquely tailor my support to each family, background, beliefs, and lifestyle. Alaina Nunez is a Certified Professional Birth Photographer and Videographer in Southern California as well as a birth doula, perinatal nutrition expert, Certified Lactation Educator Specialist and Certified Photography Trainer. She documents birth stories with her sense of calm and unique observational perspective. Her images are said to be editorial, intimate, and “in the moment”. She focuses on documenting the environment and emotions and notices and captures the little details that would otherwise go un-noticed and be forgotten. She is a second generation homeschooling mama of 7, which gives her the skill set to be flexible within a variety of situations and think quickly on her feet while seeing the beauty in the mess mess and chaos. She started attending births as a birth photographer in 2013 after the birth of her 4th child and supporting families as a doula in 2020 after the birth of her 6th child. Alaina is a Christian and opening shares about her faith and how she brings the Lord into the birth space. She says it would be impossible to not bring God into such vulnerable moments and prays for and over her clients throughout pregnancy and birth. She gives credit to God for her business and the gift of being able to support families while also documenting their birth journeys. She believes documentation is an important aspect of not just preserving stories but legacies and testimonies.

Although I have not experienced any of my own pregnancies, I have physically, mentally, and emotionally with my mom's three experiences. I've seen my mom go through each pregnancy differently as well as each of their births being unique in their own way but beautiful in every way. I have experienced seeing a supportive birth team by your side helps every woman feel more empowered and supported during this beautiful experience. My reason for becoming a birth doula is to come alongside each woman to support their desired birth plan and help them feel empowered through a vulnerable time.
