Hello, my name is Ambria and I’m a certified birth doula through DONA international. I have several years of experience working in the healthcare industry including OBGYN, and my experience there has helped me come to the conclusion that I want to give women more individualized and direct care. I’ve provided both in-person and virtual doula support. I'm here to support you in having the birth that you feel is best for you and your health, whether that birth is a scheduled induction, a repeat cesarean section, a natural delivery, or a VBAC. I am currently a part-time doula. My goal is to become a full-time doula and assist as many women and families as possible. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns and I look forward to hearing from you! Let’s make this an empowering journey together!

Ambria Moore was my prenatal and birth doula. She was more than that. She did an exceptional job. I had a cesarean section 12 months before I met her. I always wanted to have a vaginal birth. When I saw my provider I was literally shamed for wanting a vaginal birth 16 months after a cesarean. I lost all my hope until she stepped in. She believed more than me that I could do it. She was with me through every process and I had a very long exhausting labor. Everyone including me were exhausted but her. I would’ve given up if she wasn’t there! She was god sent! I had a very easy recovery and I was able to carry both my babies in a month. I would say she made it happen!

Hey, I'm Annie! I am a proud single mother to my beautiful son and extremely passionate Pre & Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist and soon to be Diastasis and Core Consultant. My passion for helping other moms and birthing people grew when I became pregnant at a challenging time in my life - 21 years old and in the middle of my Bachelor’s degree. It was the most uncertain, scary, and difficult time of my life yet I found a way to fully embrace it. As I began my education in the field of pre and postnatal wellness, I realized that there is a significant need which is simply that, WE NEED TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF THE WELL-BEING OF THOSE WHO ARE BIRTHING OUR NEXT GENERATIONS - our mothers and birthing people need, and deserve more. ⁣More resources, more education, more intentional whole-person care. My mission is to guide and educate others in how to cultivate vibrant birthing years in their own unique journey. ⁣ Thank you for joining in and I am SOO excited to begin this journey alongside you. 💛✨

Hi friends! My name is Lindsay and I am a trained birth doula with a passion for helping people. I have held onto my certification for several years while working as a CNA, too afraid to be a part of something as monumental as childbirth. This all changed when I had my son in June of 2023 - I knew that I had more to offer than just an extra hand. I believe in the power of choice, the intuitive process of birth, and that we all need a little extra support in such vulnerable and transformative times in our lives.

Makayla is passionate about helping and supporting others in need, women’s/general pelvic health, mental health, and physical health. Her background is comprised of an array of areas such as: fitness, pelvic health, and non-medical postpartum education/advice. Makayla is a University of North Carolina at Pembroke alumna, and has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. She has also worked as a Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Technician for over 2 years and is now a trained postpartum doula through DONA.

Recent review

We acquired Makayla's postpartum services for the birth of our second child and it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! Despite being experienced parents, juggling the constant needs of a newborn and toddler with all of our daily household responsibilities was really challenging. Having Makayla support us a few days or nights a week to help with light household chores, meal prep and baby-wearing in addition to all the education and care she provides, really helped maintain our sanity, helped us recharge and also allowed us one on one quality time with our toddler (which can be difficult to achieve!). It was so nice to have someone come over to look after this very tired Mom and give her a break for a change! The overnight shifts were a tremendous lifesaver as well, giving everyone much needed continuous rest and energy. Her breadth of knowledge and experience were helpful refreshers and great advice for us to ensure quality care for our sons. Makayla truly is amazing and transitioned right into being our default babysitter, the only one we trust with both kids.

SummerNickol was the best doula and supporter I could have ever asked for during my pregnancy. As a first-time mom, I had so much to learn, and she guided me through everything I needed to know about becoming a mother. She encouraged me to take classes, helped me create a birth plan, and made sure the nurses and doctors knew my preferences. During delivery, she was a calming presence, teaching me breathing techniques and supporting me through every step. She truly takes her job seriously and goes above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable, informed, and at ease. I was heartbroken when she moved because she was such an incredible part of my journey. SummerNickol was born to do this—she’s a natural nurturer and caregiver. If you’re looking for a doula who genuinely cares, she’s the one!
