About Ambria

Hello, my name is Ambria and I’m a certified birth doula through DONA international. I have several years of experience working in the healthcare industry including OBGYN, and my experience there has helped me come to the conclusion that I want to give women more individualized and direct care. I’ve provided both in-person and virtual doula support. I'm here to support you in having the birth that you feel is best for you and your health, whether that birth is a scheduled induction, a repeat cesarean section, a natural delivery, or a VBAC. I am currently a part-time doula. My goal is to become a full-time doula and assist as many women and families as possible. Birth Doula services

As a birth doula I offer prenatal support including providing you with evidence based information, being present during your doctor appointments, emotional support and any hands on support including massages. I offer labor support for the entire duration of your labor (the choice is yours whether you want me present from the start of your admission into the hospital or once you go into active labor). In addition to offering you evidence-based information to help you make the best decisions possible throughout labor and delivery, my labor support consists of both physical and emotional support. Payment plans are also accepted.

Ambria Moore was my prenatal and birth doula. She was more than that. She did an exceptional job. I had a cesarean section 12 months before I met her. I always wanted to have a vaginal birth. When I saw my provider I was literally shamed for wanting a vaginal birth 16 months after a cesarean. I lost all my hope until she stepped in. She believed more than me that I could do it. She was with me through every process and I had a very long exhausting labor. Everyone including me were exhausted but her. I would’ve given up if she wasn’t there! She was god sent! I had a very easy recovery and I was able to carry both my babies in a month. I would say she made it happen!
