My Experience I have been a doula for over 3 years and have attended over 100 births. I am passionate about providing compassionate and personalized care to each woman and family I work with. I take the time to listen to my clients and work with them to develop a birth plan that aligns with their values and goals. My goal is to empower women to make informed decisions about their care and to provide them with the support they need to have a positive birth experience. I also provide home birth services for low-risk women and work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for my clients.

Growing up, I had a very special relationship with my own babysitter who I looked up to. She became my first influence unknowingly to being in childcare. I try to carry her loving, thoughtful influence into my work as a nanny and newborn care specialist. I love working with children because they are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around. I learn a lot from them, like how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to be present in the moment. I have been working with children for seventeen years from the newborns to school age, but specialize in newborn/infant and toddler care.

My path to becoming a doula was forged during a deeply personal experience, as I navigated the challenges of healing my own womb from an ovarian cyst. Faced with the possibility of losing an ovary and the potential inability to have more children, I turned to holistic remedies and the power of herbs. I have been a camp counselor, babysitter, nanny, mother's helper, assistant teacher at a Waldorf school, and now a postpartum doula. I help families in the postpartum period WITHOUT judgment and WITH kindness. I can help you with newborn care, setting up snacks, cleaning bottles or pump parts, holding the baby while you take a nap or a shower, and be a sounding board or a shoulder to cry on.
