Hello, I plan on giving birth in the hospital. Our budget is negotiable but preferred on the cheaper end. I'm still putting together my birth plan but ideally would like to go naturally, possible pain medication or laughing gas, move as much as I would like, give birth in any position I find most comfortable, etc. Avoid induction if possible.

I would like to give birth at home if I can find a midwife to support me. I’ve already had one successful homebirth.

I'm planning to give birth in a hospital with a midwife, and we're hoping a doula would be covered by insurance so we don't have to pay any out of pocket cost. We could pay $500, perhaps? I'm hoping for a natural birth with little tearing and few interventions such as pain management, induction, c-section, or an epidural.

This will be my 2nd birth. My 1st one was a high risk twin pregnancy that had me impatient at the Fetal Care at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. I found out at 20 weeks we were expecting twins and my plans for a natural birth went out the window. I delivered the twins at 29 w and 6 days via c-section. This go round I’m seeking a VBAC option to redeem my original plans. I live in rural eastern Colorado and so I’m in the process of looking for a hospital close enough to us that has the capabilities to fulfill my wishes. I’m looking into the Greeley/ Ft. Collins area. Because of the amazing intimate care I had at the Fetal Care I desire to have a doula to provide the same feels and experience I had there. My budget is $1,000-$1,800.

I am planning to give birth in the hospital. I would use insurance (Medicaid) for payment. I’m aiming for the most relaxing and supportive environment possible. I would ideally like to minimize any intervention, such as forceps, vaccuum or cesarean section. Only using those if absolutely necessary, not for convenience. We are not finding out the gender until delivery. This is my second child, and with my first the epidural helped progress to 10cm. Once push came to shove (Ha!) it felt like the epidural did nothing except hinder me from moving into a different position. I’d love to go through the full process with no pain medication.
