I am a certified Postpartum Doula serving Seattle and the surrounding areas. I have been working with families for many years as an early childhood nanny and as a doula, and have helping many families through the ups and downs of these early days. I truly love working with a family to help them feel more confident and capable about the choices they are making. I bring a nonjudgmental listening ear and helping hand, and want the whole family to feel brighter every time I'm there. I offer a sliding scale for solo parents, LGBTQIA+ families, BIPOC families, and low income folks - please reach out if you need some assistance!

In a world of social media, “parenting experts” are everywhere - the information overload can be so overwhelming and paralyzing, especially as first time parents… enter Zoe. The hardest thing to embrace as a first time mum was knowing how much you don’t know, so having support, both hands on and virtually, from a postpartum doula made all the difference. Zoe’s knowledge in childcare and child development, as well as postpartum care (with a genuine emphasis on CARE) has made all the difference in our first three months as parents. Any new parents know it’s easy to feel like you’re blundering through, and just trying to survive. Zoe’s demeanor is that of, “you are the parents, you are experts in YOUR child,” as she guides us with her own expertise. She has not only helped to educate, but has given us the tools and encouragement to implement new practices for ourselves. From answers about baby sleep - both naps and nighttime, routines and schedules, lactation support, to the ever important parental care (self care IS caring for your baby, thanks for the reminder, Zoe), developmental milestones, and even playtime (how do you play with a baby? Zoe knows). She has been a delight to work with, her communication is excellent, and in a time that can be frightening and isolating, Zoe has ensured that post partum is not something we ever felt “alone” in. After working with Zoe, it is impossible to think of how different our experience would have been without her, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her, and will hopefully get to work with her again for future children

Hi, I’m Elena (she/her), a certified postpartum doula! I grew up bilingual, speaking German and Italian, and developed a deep love for connection through language. Becoming a mom changed everything for me, and it revealed just how crucial support is in those early days of parenting. It inspired me to follow my true calling: nurturing new parents and helping them build a strong foundation for this incredible chapter of their lives. My approach is deeply influenced by the German tradition of Wochenbett, which emphasizes rest, recovery, and bonding in the weeks after childbirth. I strive to create a nurturing space with personalized care that fosters connection, ease, and confidence as families grow into their new roles. I bring warmth, empathy, and a calming presence to every family I support, honoring the unique needs of each household. It’s a profound honor to walk alongside parents during one of the most tender times of their lives. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me exploring new places with my husband and son, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the beauty around us.

My name is Aijanae, the visionary founder of Village to Village Doulas, a premier doula agency renowned for its holistic and compassionate approach to childbirth and postpartum care. My journey into the world of maternal support was deeply personal and transformative. My son, my baby boy Jahsiah was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma just as I had booked my calendar for the year, I was faced the immense challenge of balancing my professional and personal life. This experience underscored the importance of having a trusted support system during life's most vulnerable moments. Leveraging my personal journey, I established Village to Village Doulas to provide unparalleled support to local Doulas and parents navigating the complexities of childbirth and early parenthood.

Recent review

I have had such a positive, stress-free postpartum experience, and that is in very large part thanks to Aijanae. I feel so lucky to have found her and her team - from the moment I first talked to her, I knew I would want her to support me and my family. She exudes calm, and she is incredibly knowledgeable, and she is very generous with her time. Aijanae supported me for the first 6 weeks with overnights, and then her team (Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey) joined to support for the following 4 weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed Aijanae's company during the middle of the night feedings and so appreciated all her advice on breastfeeding and newborn care (and appreciated her folding laundry, doing some meal prep, and cleaning pump parts). Aijanae really cares about you as a new mother and goes out of her way with texts, phone calls, and in-person conversations to make sure you feel heard and supported. My experience with Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey was also great. They are all clearly experts in what they do. And the great thing about working with an agency, like Aijanae's agency, is that if you have a longer term contract like I did and someone inevitably gets sick or can't make a shift, there is always someone else who can cover. Our 10 weeks with Aijanae and her team were a big financial commitment, but it was worth every penny. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aijanae and Village to Village to any family who wants a smoother postpartum experience.

I specialize in overnight care for new families. I maintain certification as a postpartum doula, have completed training as an advanced newborn care specialist, and have worked with over 50 families in the last three years. I become a member of the family I work with and am committed to being a part of your team. I am warm, personable, and develop a sense of mutual respect with my clients. As a doula and newborn care specialist I am akin to a walking, talking baby book that is forever being updated on current trends and safety standards.

Meri is a doula extraordinaire. We slept so peacefully knowing our baby was well taken care of, loved and carefully watched all night. Meri is meticulous, communicative, thoughtful and a wealth of knowledge, especially for us first-time parents. Meri became part of our family during her weeks with us and we couldn't have survived that fragile postpartum time without her. Not only would we wake up to all the baby tasks done (perfectly), but she was a strong support system for all the postpartum changes for me as a mother. Hiring Meri was beneficial to our baby, our sleep, our marriage, my mental health and so many other aspects of our life. We already miss her dearly and highly recommend her to anyone looking for this type of care.

Hello, we’re Jessica, Autumn, and Jordan—three certified birth doulas (and photographers) serving families who desire to feel deeply supported, seen, and prepared as they welcome new life. We believe birth matters—not only the outcome, but the experience: how a woman is treated, how she’s supported, and how she remembers it. Our role is to be a calm, steady presence—listening well, praying over your journey if you wish, and holding space for both the intensity and the beauty of birth. Whether you’re preparing for an unmedicated birth, navigating past trauma, planning a VBAC, or simply want a trusted guide in the room, we provide evidence-based guidance, hands-on comfort, and heartfelt encouragement. Our hope is that you look back on your birth feeling empowered, informed, and cared for—body, mind, and spirit.

Working with Jessica as our doula was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy journey. From the very beginning, she was amazing—supportive, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. Her initial consultation and two pre-birth meetings were packed with helpful information that made us feel so empowered and prepared going into labor. During the birth, Jessica was truly in tune with what I needed. She had this calm presence that grounded the whole room, and when we were in the thick of labor and forgot parts of our birth plan, she gently and confidently advocated for us. She also captured the most beautiful photos during the birth—images we’ll treasure forever. What amazed us even more is that her photography never took away from her doula support; she was fully present the entire time—I didn’t even realize she was taking pictures! A few days after our birth, she came over to our home to check in on us, making sure we were all doing well physically, mentally, and emotionally. She brought a huge, delicious jar of homemade bone broth with her, and it felt like the most thoughtful gift. We are beyond thankful for everything Jessica did for us. Her genuine care, compassion, and expertise made all the difference in our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

In that time, I’ve walked alongside countless families through some of the most sacred and powerful moments of their lives.
